Found in Frombork Castle, Poland, where Copernicus developed his heliocentric theory, the copper-alloy instrument was buried under the castle gardens. Experts from the Nicolaus Copernicus Museum confirm the compass's possible connection to the astronomer. Copernicus lived in the castle, where he later wrote *De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium* (1543), a foundational work in modern science.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Kyiv for his first official visit to Ukraine. During his meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, they are expected to discuss strengthening economic ties and explore a potential "peace formula" aimed at a ceasefire.
Bloomberg previously reported that India had agreed to act as a messenger between Zelenskyy and Putin, potentially playing a mediating role in the conflict.
