Amateur archaeologists have discovered a 500-year-old compass believed to have belonged to Nicolaus Copernicus. Found in Frombork Castle, Poland, where Copernicus developed his heliocentric theory, the copper-alloy instrument was buried under the castle gardens. Experts from the Nicolaus Copernicus Museum confirm the compass's possible connection to the astronomer. Copernicus lived in the castle, where he later wrote *De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium* (1543), a foundational work in modern science.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Arrives in Kyiv for Historic Visit
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Kyiv for his first official visit to Ukraine. During his meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, they are expected to discuss strengthening economic ties and explore a potential "peace formula" aimed at a ceasefire.
Bloomberg previously reported that India had agreed to act as a messenger between Zelenskyy and Putin, potentially playing a mediating role in the conflict.
This visit follows Modi's trip to Moscow a month and a half ago, during which India and Russia signed a strategic cooperation program set to run until 2030.

There were earlier rumors that Kennedy would withdraw in favor of Trump.
According to polls, Kennedy was gaining about 10% of the vote until the Democrats nominated Kamala Harris, who gained about 6% thanks to his supporters.
Trump said this week that he would "probably" give Kennedy a position in his administration if Kennedy dropped out of the race and endorsed a Republican.
