“There's nothing dishonourable about being someone who maintains civilisation. His work is necessary for us not to live in a shithole. The people who quietly do important but unglamorous work are the unsung heroes of the world, we should appreciate them, not scorn them.”

The voices of the inept were historically excluded from scientific discourse by an establishment that bitterly clung to archaic values like objective, rational thinking. Dr. Carter reports how the courageous editorial staff of Scientific American are decolonizing science.

Systemic Failure

The ramifications of the vaxx are now beginning to put the hospitals under even worse strain than they were during Covid. I saw a video in which a nurse stated that she was one of only three unvaccinated heath care workers at employed at the hospital, and talked about the similarly horrific state of affairs […]

The End of Awe

The Western militaries are just beginning to understand that asymmetric warfare has not only undermined their historical advantage over their adversaries, but has eliminated it completely. You just need to be a little bit aware of what the so-called “US air force glory” consists of. And it consists of such specific “feats” that completely explain […]

TIL Montgomery's memoirs criticised many of his wartime comrades harshly, including Eisenhower. After publishing it, he had to apologize in a radio broadcast to avoid a lawsuit. He was also stripped of his honorary citizenship of Alabama, and was challenged to a duel by an Italian lawyer.

🗓 September 21, 1799 is famous for Swiss campaign of Aleksandr Suvorov.

Suvorov's troops were about 21.5 thousand, of which 4.5 thousand were Austrians. The Russian commander intended to use the traditional for him method of speed and onslaught. Therefore, he chose the shortest, albeit the most difficult, route through the St. Gotthard Pass.

The transition took place in the most difficult conditions: the treacherous behavior of the Austrian allies, who constantly did not fulfill their obligations, daily skirmishes with the enemy, often turning into battles, nature itself, which created difficulties on the way of the Russian army - Suvorov soldiers overcame all this. Fighting off 84 thousand army of General A. Massena, the soldiers of Suvorov completed the campaign. The Russian army lost over 4 thousand killed and wounded, but caused four times more damage.

Even the enemy, General A. Massena, admitted that he would give all his campaigns for the Swiss epic of the Russian commander alone.

"The Russian bayonet broke through the Alps" - Aleksandr Suvorov.

The color nuances we see depend on the number and distribution of cones in our eye. You can check the image of the rainbow photo above. How many colors do you count? A computer only shows a limited number of shades so this test is limited to "normal" ranges of human perception.

You see less than 20 color nuances: you are a dichromats, which means you have 2 types of cones only. You are likely to wear black, beige, and blue. 25% of the population is dichromat.

You see between 20 and 32 color nuances: you are a trichromat, you have 3 types of cones (in the purple/blue, green and red area). You enjoy different colors as you can appreciate them. 50% of the population is trichromat.

You see between 33 and 39 colors: you are a tetrachromat, like bees, and have 4 types of cones (in the purple/blue, green, red plus yellow area). 25% of the population is tetrachromat.

"Most of the food in America comes from just a few crops like corn, wheat, soy, and canola, largely due to farming subsidies that force farmers to mass-produce these crops and sell them below cost. These cheap crops are then turned into the processed foods we eat every day. This is problematic because:

"Health Issues: These foods are unhealthy and contribute to major health problems like diabetes and obesity.

"Natural Aversion: Our bodies naturally resist these foods, making them hard to sell.

Addictive Additives: To make them more appealing, addictive substances are added. In the 1980s, Big Tobacco bought the processed food industry and, much like they did with cigarettes, focused on making these foods as addictive as possible.

"Chronic Illness: The resulting health issues create lifelong customers for industries like Big Pharma."

This interview is an excellent antidote for people who think Russia is an anti-globalist utopia.

What is really going on in Russia?
"Riley Waggaman is an American journalist living in Russia for over a decade. He provides an explosive account of Putin, the war in Ukraine, the Russian oligarchy, Russia’s response to Covid, the Sputnik vaccine rollout, the digital ruble, surveillance, NATO, and BRICS. He comments on Putin’s ties to WEF, Tucker’s interview with Putin, Telegram and its CEO Durov’s arrest, Edward Snowden, Nord Stream, political dissent and free speech. Waggaman wrote for several publications including Russia Today (RT), but when Covid began, his freedom as a journalist ended."
