A Robotic Hand That Detaches and Crawls—But Don’t Be Alarmed, It’s All Part of the Plan!

Engineers from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) and MIT have unveiled a five-fingered robotic hand that can detach from its main manipulator and crawl independently. Operating autonomously, the hand can grasp objects beyond the reach of the primary robot, then return and reattach itself.

Each finger of the robotic hand has four degrees of freedom and can bend in both directions relative to the plane of the hand. The developers used a genetic algorithm to determine the optimal number of fingers and their placement on the cylindrical palm.

In the basic configuration, the autonomous hand uses only two fingers to grasp and hold one, two, or even three objects, while the remaining fingers are employed for locomotion.

This innovation could be extremely useful for working in confined spaces.

The video is published by local channels. Aggressive passers-by began to insult her and snatched the flag from her hands.

"Have first hand experience of this after multiple attempts by doctors to end my learning disabled sister’s life prematurely. (She had ‘polio’ as a kid and I am convinced was polio vaccine injured as it was after the jab in the 1960s). First attempt in May 2021 was at Bath United Hospital when they called me to be at her bedside when she died. They planned to remove her oxygen and give her morphine and midazolam. They were waiting until she had been admitted for over 24 hours so a coroner was not automatically involved - but not waiting too long because her stats were improving and she was getting better. I refused to agree. A week later she was declared ‘medically fit for discharge’ and lived another three years. They were happily going to rob her of 3 years of life. The next time was when a paramedic refused to take her into hopsital for treatment, using as an excuse the “RESPECT” form they had got her to fill out when she was last in hospital - where she had ticked the box to balance treament with quality of life. Turns out the RESPECT form is a death warant. Interestingly they deem her to have mental capacity when its for signing RESPECT forms but not when she refuses medication. We insisted she went to hospital and she lived another 2 years after that, having spent less than a week in hopsital. Another time was when they gave her remdesivir. It was clearly killing her and she said she didn’t want it. Suddenly she was deemed not to have mental capacity and so they gave it to her anyway. Bath United Hospital again. I created merry hell and threatened to go to court and play a recording I had taken of her clearly saying she didn’t want the remdesivir. They told her she would (not might but would) die if she didn’t have it and she said “ I don’t care - I don’t want it”. Still they forced it on her. They finally agreed to take her off it. Again within a week she was declared medically fit to for discharge and lived over a year after that. These are murder protocols - make no mistake."
