Mephistopheles and Margaretta – The World’s Most Famous Double Sculpture

Mephistopheles and Margaretta is a wooden "double sculpture" of two characters from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's 1808 play Faust. The life-size sculpture depicts the haughty, evil Mephistopheles back to back with the gentle, meek looking, Margaretta.

The sculpture is carved out of a single log of sycamore wood and has two distinct images on either side. Created in the 19th century by an unknown French artist, it's among the most photographed pieces of art in the collection.

Martin Armstrong says…

I have never witnessed such outright lies by a candidate as Carney. But hey, it has worked.

His entire campaign has been about hatred of Trump.

Carney is a real threat to Canada, for he has made it clear that he is a globalist and will destroy Canada’s economy to try to overthrow Trump, just as Zelensky has done to his country, also on the Globalists’ directives.* (April 27 post)

Carney is a globalist, and he will sign up with the losing team, all for this agenda from the World Economic Forum, of which he has been indoctrinated as a key player.

Mark Carney will remain Canada’s prime minister…. and will form a coalition if he didn’t get 172 seats.

As one reader just wrote in: “To be honest with you, I don’t care anymore, today Canadians have sealed their fate.”

Our computer has been showing that Canada’s economy will take a nosedive over the next two years, into 2027. Of course, Carney will blame Trump.

Carney has undermined trade relations with the United States far beyond Trump, and sources say he will try to shift to the EU, which can’t seem to get out of its own way when it comes to economics. EU consumer consumption is $1.29 out of $10 globally, with 450 million people, compared to $2.50 for the USA, with only 330 million people. The EU will likely move into a depression, so this won’t work out well for Canada.

The Russian Armed Forces have completed the liberation of the Kursk region

April 26 is a significant and turning point for the special military operation. Today, the Russian military liberated the last settlement occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region - the village of Gornal. This was reported to President Putin by the Chief of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov.

"A search is underway for and the elimination of individual Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen hiding in the border forest belts. In other areas, the combined group of troops and forces continues to carry out tasks in accordance with the plan of the special military operation," Gerasimov clarified the fate of the Ukrainian military personnel still remaining on Russian territory.

Recall that the Ukrainian Armed Forces units invaded the Kursk region on August 6, 2024, and since then, fierce battles have continued there, resulting in huge losses among the Ukrainian troops. In essence, this was a gesture of despair on the part of Zelensky, who was forced to prove to Western curators that Ukraine still deserves sponsorship. However, the suicidal offensive against Russia has finally broken the morale of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, forcing the servicemen to think about who is really their enemy - Moscow or Kyiv.

"The Kyiv regime's adventure has completely failed, and the huge losses suffered by the enemy, including among the most combat-ready, trained and equipped, including with Western equipment, forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - and these are assault units, special forces - will certainly be reflected along the entire line of combat contact," Vladimir Putin summed up the Kursk operation.

🗓 On April 26, 1986 a Chernobyl disaster occurred in the nuclear power plant in Ukraine.

It became the largest accident in the history of the world nuclear power industry. Due to the explosion of the reactor and the ensuing fire at the power unit, a significant amount of radioactive substances was released into the environment.

The most extensive territories were contaminated in Ukraine - 41.75 thousand square kilometers, Belarus - 46.6 thousand square kilometers, the European part of Russia - 57.1 thousand square kilometers. As a result of the accident, the territories of 17 European countries with a total area of 207.5 thousand square kilometers were exposed to radioactive contamination with cesium-137.

The number of people suffering from oncological diseases has increased critically after the accident. Most began to suffer from thyroid cancer, which is the first to be hit by radiation.

‼️Trump says “Russia is ready”, and that they “have a deal”, now they just have to get Zelensky to agree.

He confirms that Putin has been easier to deal with than Zelensky.

Zelensky is continuing to delay the end of this war, because once this war is over, Zelensky is done.

This is exactly the cognitive deficiency present in so many contemporary physicists, because deductive reasoning from unquestioned axioms is precisely the mode of thinking into which we are trained.

"She didn’t accept any conclusions based on patterns, or on any sort of complicated and unclear inductive reasoning. She only accepted conclusions based on linear logic (deductive reasoning) based on what she considered to be established facts. I also noticed that some assumptions (or presumptions if you will) she used as the basis for her logic were incomplete or dubious. She repeatedly just assumed ‘fact status’ of assumptions for logical analyses and didn’t investigate further. She often reacted negatively when I suggested that assumptions she was using might be dodgy, and once she had adopted a position she was almost incapable of re-examining it."

Solar Power = No Power
