TIL that until the later part of the 18th century, almost no one in western Europe washed their whole body with any regularity. This habit remains true for people of all classes, as even Louis XIV is said to have only taken three baths in his entire life.

I was just reading some interesting speculations that the CIA was deeply involved in Watergate, and that it was a setup to take out Nixon with whom then CIA Director Richard Helms was at odds.
...his year of hijinks with Liddy and Hunt. Questions about the CIA’s tense relationship with Nixon continue to linger to this day. In the heart of the scandal to come, Senator Howard Baker, the ranking minority member of the upper chamber’s Watergate investigation, would say, “Nixon and [CIA Director Richard] Helms have so much on each other, neither of them can breathe.”
Were Hunt and/or McCord still working for the agency, formally or informally? Did one or both of them have their own secret agenda? Researchers digging into the burglary years after the fact found notable inconsistencies in Hunt and McCord’s recollections of the events in question.

Watergate’s Central Mystery: Why Did Nixon’s Team Order the Break-In in the First Place?
Fifty years after the crime, the author of ‘Watergate: A New History’ offers five theories—some persuasive, some catnip for conspiracy hounds.
Nixon did not engender himself to the ruling elite with attitudes like this:
"Homosexuality, dope, immorality generally — these are the enemies of strong societies," Nixon said. "The upper class of San Francisco is that way.. It's not just the ratty part of town. The upper class in San Francisco is that way. The Bohemian Grove, which I attend from time to time — it is the most faggy goddamned thing you could ever imagine, with that San Francisco crowd. I don’t even want to shake hands with anybody from San Francisco. Decorators. They’ve got to do something ... but goddamn it we don’t have to glorify it.”

Helicopter footage of a loose cow being wrangled by Emergency Services and cowboys in Oklahoma, USA.
Many people call it the most American thing they have ever seen. Covered by a helicopter like some kind of police pursuit. Cowboys wrangling a cow. and a FedEx not giving a fuck.
A couple of cowboys rode into action Monday morning in downtown Oklahoma City after a cow had gotten loose on busy Interstate 40. The animal eventually got onto a service road where cowboys were able to wrangle and subdue it.
What may have felt like another day in the office for some rural folks really added a bit of excitement to morning commutes for folks in this city.
Through rain or sleet or cow, FedEx gonna deliver.

The forgerie unmasked. In 1957, philanthropist Paul Mellon bought a map and donated it to Yale University. In 1965, Yale geniuses unveiled the map to the world public, claiming that, according to it, archeologists and scholars would have no doubt that Vikings would have reached Newfoundland and the Gulf of St. Lawrence around AD 1000.
The map caused a sensation, it was the front page of the New York Times but some cartographers noticed that the ink on the map was crumbling. In 1974, Yale surrendered to the evidence, revealing the medieval treasure was false.

In this experiment we see that half of a copper globe is anodized with nickel metallic paint and connected to an electric wire in a direct current pole. In the center of the container there is a brass bolt electrically isolated from the container and connected to another pole of the direct current. At the base of the wooden support there is a large magnet which generates a magnetic attraction. Liquid mercury weighing just over 1 kg is poured into the container. When current flows through the two conductors, it generates a strong magnetic field that supports the system. This favorable condition causes mercury to rotate since it is a very conductive metal.
For the success of the experiment it is necessary to have liquid mercury not less than 1 kg.
The experiment does not work with gallium, as it is a less fluid metal.
The voltage source is given by a 2 volts 45 amps transformer driven by a direct current inverter.
The current absorbed for operation is approximately 38 amps.
The speed of rotation of the mercury varies according to the weight and the voltage supplied.

Unfortunately, we cannot rely on the media anymore. Media outlets became the mouthpiece of the global elite, and many journalists engaged themselves in activism for the cancel culture movement.
The same applies to mainstream social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Co. Their algorithms define what you are supposed to see, which accounts should be (shadow-) banned, and which people are suggested to you to follow.
Within the last couple of years, the internet turned into a complex jungle of governmental misinformation, censorship, and intransparent and incomprehensible algorithms. That is why I would like to give you orientation in the confusing hotchpotch of information war by recommending several information sources that I consider valuable. My favourite TG channels for June 2020 are as follows:
1. OffGuardian 🇬🇧 – one of my favourite news sources for independent journalism. Their website and channel functions might need an overhaul, but the content is superb.
2. Jerm Warfare Battleground 🇿🇦 – my buddy Jerm bears the nickname "South African Joe Rogan". In my opinion, they play in the same ballpark. In his podcasts, Jerm talks to everyone and thus contributes to pluralism and social enlightenment.
3. The Vigilant Fox 🇺🇸 – he/she has a unique appreciation of how to summarize information that is shown in video sequences. That anonymous carnivore is definitely worth a follow.
4. Ice Age Farmer 🇺🇸 – many of you might know him from YouTube. He also runs his Telegram channel and provides information about health, Covid, and food systems. It's all interrelated.
5. 1984 Prevention Team 🇺🇸 – the name says it all: the admins of that group (which I a part of) are doing everything to avoid that Orwell's dystopian novel "1984" won't become a reality.
6. Covid-19 Up 🇺🇸 – that channel provides you with well-written news about Covid. They are quite neutrally written, which should actually be the task of MSM journalists.
7. Médicos pela Vida 🇧🇷 – a channel run by Brazilian doctors summing up scientific papers in Portuguese and informing the audience about the Covid plandemic.
8. Dr. Thomas Binder 🇨🇭 – Thomas was one of the first doctors in Europe who spoke up. Consequently, he was temporarily put into a mental hospital against his own will. It's needless to say that almost all of his "conspiracy theories" became true. He writes informative posts in German and English.
Enjoy their content and don't forget that building a good and independent network is essential in these days.

Belarusbank has abolished limits on cash withdrawals from UnionPay cards.
We are talking about cards issued abroad. Previously, they had a limit of 200 rubles per week (about $ 77).
UnionPay is a Chinese payment system whose cards are issued all over the world, including in Russia. In Belarus, these cards are issued by Belgazprombank. The system has become more popular with Belarusian and Russian customers after blocking international payments by Visa and MasterCard.

SCIENTESE: The Language of Scientism
Avoid using scientese in normal conversation outside of scientific conferences. Avoid wasting time in discussions about definitions and existence/non existence isolation/non isolation of viruses/bacteria/etc.
All of these are red herrings designed to trap people into areas which are besides the point of what is happening: the pre-planned stripping of human rights relating to bodily autonomy.
The issue they are fighting us on is human rights, not science. They could not care less if they lose the scientific argument once they strip our rights to bodily autonomy forever.
Scientese is a Trojan Horse. Don't let the wooden horse through the city gates or allow it to dominate the narrative and focus on the real battleground: the right to bodily autonomy without discrimination or prejudice.
Scientese is just as useless as legalese to defend human rights: avoid both scientese and legalese.
Say NO to scientese.
Focus on your rights instead.
