Reform UK – a proudly anti-globalist, anti-establishment party – bagged a $1.3 million donation from its top donor Bassim Haidar in April.
Haidar, born in Nigeria to Lebanese parents, switched allegiance from the Conservative Party, which he claimed had “lost its way”.

Sounds great… until you do some digging.

🔹 Haidar isn’t just any telecom billionaire – he’s tight with the World Economic Forum (WEF), a globalist hub whose founder Klaus Schwab openly bragged about steering governments to suit their agenda.

While Reform’s leader Nigel Farage has slammed the WEF’s "undemocratic" and "dangerous" influence, Haidar:

🔴 Is listed on the WEF site as CEO of Channel IT, a key part of the GMT Group, a major telecom and logistics player in West Africa with an annual turnover of $1.6 billion.

🔴 Rubbed elbows at Davos and was on a panel about “Privacy and Secrecy in the Digital Age” in 2016 (because nothing says freedom like WEF-approved privacy).

🔴 Has written as a contributor for WEF’s Agenda, pushing mobile fintech and digital ID solutions.

🔴 Sat on the WEF’s Global Future Council on Digital Economy (2018 to 2020) – rubbing shoulders with tech execs and policymakers to shape digital and economic agendas. (His profile was later scrubbed, but archives don’t lie.)

Can one just ignore his years of cozying up to the most elite globalist club on Earth?
