Yemen’s Ansurallah claimed responsibility for launching a ballistic missile toward Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv.

The missile, identified as a Zulfiqar-type, was reportedly intercepted by Israeli defense systems, yet the attack caused temporary disruption of airport operations and prompted air raid sirens across central Israel .

Ansurallah military spokesperson, Yahya Sarea, stated that the operation achieved its intended objectives, asserting that it was a response to Israeli actions in Gaza. He warned of continued attacks unless what he termed “Israeli aggression” ceases and the blockade on Gaza is lifted.

This incident is part of a series of missile and drone attacks launched by the Ansurllah toward Israel since November 2023, which are described as acts of solidarity with Palestinians amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza. The IOF confirmed the interception of the missile and reported no casualties.

The Resistance faction warns that Israel will face more economic attacks soon.
