NEW - Poland demands Germany stop Nord Stream attack prosecutions because they are not in Poland's interest.

Sławomir Cenckiewicz, who leads Poland’s national security bureau and is a key adviser to President Karol Nawrocki, told the Financial Times in an interview that Germany should not continue the prosecutions if it wanted to align Russia policy with Poland and other Nato allies.

“From our point of view, this investigation doesn’t make sense, not only in terms of the interests of Poland but also the whole [Nato] alliance,” Cenckiewicz said, adding that prosecuting Nord Stream saboteurs might serve German justice, but also “Russian injustice”.

The idea that Romania’s 2024 democratic breakdown could serve as a replicable experiment across the European Union was evident to anyone closely observing the reaction—or lack thereof—from EU leadership at the time. At no point did European institutions invoke, reference, or even remind Romania of its obligations under Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union.

It’s not a complicated article:

Article 2: The Union is founded on the values of respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities. These values are common to the Member States in a society in which pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and equality between women and men prevail.

Yet when Romania stepped away from the established, “civilized” democratic order, the EU elite behaved as if they had dodged a bullet—failing to acknowledge that annulling a democratic election on flimsy grounds strikes at the very foundation of the democratic process.

The Sahara Desert hasn’t always been a desert.

Around 7,000 years ago, the world’s largest arid desert was green – filled with grasslands, rivers, and enormous lakes. Hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, elephants, and antelopes roamed the savanna, while early humans hunted, fished, and painted rock art of the animals around them.

Scientists call this period the African Humid Period, when changes in Earth’s orbit shifted the monsoon northward, drenching North Africa with rainfall. Lake Chad swelled to the size of the Caspian Sea, and the Sahara supported thriving ecosystems and human settlements.

But this “Green Sahara” didn’t last.

About 3,000 BCE, the rains stopped. In just a few centuries, lush savanna turned to sand. People living in the interior were forced to migrate – many toward the Nile Valley, where new farming communities helped give rise to ancient Egypt.

John Homeston, a retired CIA agent, admitted that hip-hop was a psychological operation invented by the CIA in the 1980s, and that the agency directed and funded famous performers including NWA, Dr. Dre, Jay-Z and Kanye West.
