HSBC or Credit Suisse. Word is European bank. Monday is going to be wild.
For how long I’ve talked about something like this happening, it’s kinda surreal to see the snowball rolling. https://twitter.com/DavidJPba/status/2005404641064890520#m

We’ve been publishing for over two years now here at the Fields & Energy Substack. Our first book, Fields & Energy Book I: Fundamentals & Origins of Electromagnetism, is a #1 New Release in Electromagnetism on Amazon. We scored a science fair victory with a quantum entanglement research project, and more research publications are in progress and on the way. The Society for Post-Quantum Research aims to put the “classical” back into classical physics, and we’re off to a good start.

All we’re missing, now? Is you.

And now there's a special offer for anyone who signs up for a paid subnoscription to the Fields & Energy Substack.

Did Chase Just Go Down?

This has been floating around. I saw it on Hal Turner’s site, which isn’t particularly reliable, but the specifics mentioned tend to indicate that this one might be. Reports have been coming in CLAIMING “a systemically important bank, a major player in Silver Futures, failed to pay its Margin Call by 2:00 AM and was […]

🚢 🇨🇳 🇹🇼 China Has Militarized Seafarers Says US Navy Report May 21, 2022

The report – Civilian Shipping and Maritime Militia: The Logistics Backbone of a Taiwan Invasion – by Lonnie Henley, a former Rhodes Scholar and senior Army intelligence officer, looks at the integration of commercial shipping and China’s seafarers with the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN), along with the use of Chinese seafarers – aboard both China flagged ships and Non-Chinese flagged ships – during a planned invasion of Taiwan.

“Civilian shipping is the central feature of the PLAN approach to an invasion of Taiwan,” says Henley. “The PLA has spent over two decades developing the bureaucratic apparatus, laws, and regulations to organize, train, and manage this force (of civilian seafarers). This seems to be how Chinese leaders, civilian and military, think the PLA should function, leveraging the enormous resources of China’s civilian economy to support military operations.”

The Turnspit dog was once a common sight in kitchens across Britain and parts of Europe. These small, low-built dogs were bred for one purpose only. They ran inside a wheel connected to a spit, turning roasting meat over an open fire so it cooked evenly. Before motors and clockwork devices, this was hard physical labor, done for hours at a time.

Because the job was so specific, the dogs were bred with short legs, long bodies, and strong endurance rather than looks. They were often kept near the hearth and worked daily in inns, large homes, and bakeries. Some kitchens even kept two dogs so they could swap shifts when one became exhausted.

When mechanical spit-turners became affordable in the early 1800s, the Turnspit dog was no longer needed. Since the breed existed almost entirely for this single task, it was not preserved once the work disappeared. Over time, the Turnspit dog faded away, leaving behind only engravings and written accounts of one of history’s strangest working animals.

🇨🇳🇹🇼 — Communist China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater Command has announced the "Justice Mission 2025" joint military exercise around ROC/Taiwan Island

🗺 On map, Taiwan Security Monitor visualization of the declared exercise zones, per Chinese state media

🇨🇳 According to the ETC spox, the drills will focus on "sea-air combat readiness patrols, joint seizure of comprehensive superiority, blockades of key ports and areas, as well as all-dimensional deterrence outside the island chain."

He added:
"With vessels and aircraft approaching Taiwan Island in close proximity from different directions, troops from multiple services are engaging in joint assaults to test their joint operations capabilities, he said in a statement. This is a stern warning against "Taiwan Independence" separatist forces, and it is a legitimate and necessary action to safeguard China’s sovereignty and national unity."

The Great Boston Molasses Flood of 1919 had 2 MILLION gallons of molasses burst the rivet-held holding tank, blasting rivets out like a machinegun, and plunging the 2 million gallons at a ludicrous 35 miles per hour, killing 21 people and killing and injuring many horses. Here is the aftermath in picture.
