Viacheslav Volodin: The United States is forcing the EU countries to finance Kyiv, while they themselves bear much lower costs
“In terms of spending on the maintenance of the Kyiv regime, the United States is in 12th place - 0.37% of the share of GDP. This is 5.7 times less than in Poland,” the speaker of the State Duma noted.
More States are also forced to spend Estonia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Malta, Norway, Romania and Cyprus.
Volodin stressed that the EU countries continue to suffer losses from anti-Russian sanctions, and the total amount of support for the energy industry in Europe has already amounted to €570 billion (more than 45.5 trillion rubles). It cost Germany 7.2% of GDP.
“Washington has once again shown that the main principle of its policy is to use other countries to achieve its interests,” he concluded.
