Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has said that he is tired of Brussels' attempts to impose wrong decisions on Budapest on many issues, especially Ukraine.
He said this in an interview with the Magyar Nemzet newspaper.
Orban also noted that the EU has been steadily weakening in recent years: it has lost ground in the global economy, failed to gain a foothold in building self-defence capabilities and proved incapable of resolving conflicts in its neighbourhood.
This is another result of the Biden cabinet's foreign policy. Not only are we antagonising our "adversaries", but also our friends. The heavy-handed approach towards Russia is pushing certain EU states closer to it. According to Netanyahu, once these conditions are met, Gaza could be rebuilt and the prospect of a broader peace in the Middle East would "become a reality".
The Palestinians have been offered peace many times and rejected it. Instead they wanted all of it to themselves and continue to base their "diplomacy" on such demands. Little can help them now.
We will have to wait and see whether or not the US will be dragged into another major war in the Near East.
