Interim Police Chief Darren Allison stated at a news conference that the arriving uniformed and plainclothes officers observed multiple people leaving the business.
One of the individuals opened fire multiple times, striking Le, who was wearing plain clothes and operating an unmarked vehicle.
The other police officers at the scene were unharmed and took the injured officer to Highland Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead approximately four hours after the shooting occurred.
The chief also stated that no officers returned fire.

The question now is whether this was malice or incompetence. Usually, one should assume incompetence over malice, but with these people one should always do it the other way around. Major escalation in the Middle East
The U.S. military, for the first time, actively engaged the Iran-backed Houthi militants, sinking three boats and killing everyone on board.
U.S. CENTCOM command revealed Sunday morning that four Houthi boats attacked the Maersk Hangzhou again by firing small arms and crew-served weapons. After U.S. Navy helicopters were dispatched, they gave a warning to the militants, who opened fire. 10 militants in total died.
While the Maersk Hangzhou vessel is safe and unharmed, the company has halted all sailing on the Red Sea for 48 hours, according to Reuters.

The hypocrisy of the elites and their lapdogs like Justin Trudeau is downright comical. Owning a car is bad for the environment - flies private jets and has multiple cars. Eating meat is immoral and bad for the environment - eats hundreds of dollars worth of steak in one sitting.
I can give dozens of examples, but hopefully you all get it. There are still people out there, however, who believe all this filth. In fact, some of them are quite literally willing to mutilate their children for the "agenda".

The mandate enacted in August 2021 led to the forced firing of over 8,000 service members who refused the shot on religious or medical grounds.
The service members say their "suffering continues to be felt financially, emotionally, and physically".
Biden's military leadership is accused of "continuing to ignore the issue".
They are threatening to bring Biden's top leaders out of retirement so they can be court-martialed and held to account.
On New Year's Day, over 200 service members declared that they will do "everything in their power" to get accountability since not a single leader has resigned or been held to account despite the rollback of the vaccine mandate last year.

Harry Dent warns the "everything bubble" will burst in the new year.
"Since 2009, this has been 100% artificial, unprecedented money printing and deficits; $27 trillion over 15 years, to be exact. This is off the charts, 100% artificial, which means we're in a dangerous state," Harry Dent told Fox News Digital. "I think 2024 is going to be the biggest single crash year we'll see in our lifetimes."
