Russia’s lead negotiator Medinsky declared the talks successful, while Ukraine emphasized its push for a ceasefire—ultimately rejected by Moscow. However, both sides agreed to a significant 1,000-for-1,000 prisoner exchange. Russia also insisted on excluding US representatives from future direct negotiations.
A potential leaders’ summit is now under discussion.

However, because of his legal troubles in France, Durov is not allowed to leave the country and cannot testify in person. A videocall will have to be set up which, no doubt, will be sabotaged by the French.

The same official complained to POLITICO that Paris has difficulty in dealing with people "like Pavel Durov or Elon Musk" who "have strong communities" who never buy the arguments and denials made by French institutions.
