Approach the world as if nobody was against you.
Because nobody is.
Once you understand that people are for themselves and not against you, you start figuring out ways to build mutually beneficial relationships.
Do what's right for yourself.
Stop seeing everyone as a competition.
Start seeing people as opportunities to cooperate.
Once you make this paradigm shift, most of your relationships become positive.
Of course, as always and everywhere, you will meet some motherfuckers who do not want to cooperate with you.
Bully the motherfuckers.
Make them avoid you.

Not everything is a conspiracy.
Don’t live in paranoia.
Yes some shit is really fucked up.
Yes some people are pulling the strings.
Yes the game is rigged.
But none of those are reasons to scream CONSPIRACY at everything you see.
You will lose your mind.
That’s not gonna help.
Don’t feed the negativity with more negativity.
Know the rules and bend them to suit you.
Just do your shit and enjoy it.
Know that it will be harder for you than for others.
But also know that it will be easier for you than for most people.
Negativity is meant to destroy itself.
Positivity is meant to build you up.
The choice is a no-brainer.
Don’t be a doomer.
Be aware of what’s going on but don’t let it eat you from the inside.

Competition will bring out the best side of you if you’re secure and mentally strong.
Seeing people doing better than you should motivate you to do better yourself and keep progressing.
Only insecure people think competition is not healthy.
Because they keep telling themselves that the others don’t deserve what they have.
Competition breeds competence.
Competition is not the problem.
Competition will help you grow.
It’s your refusal to acknowledge that you have work to do that is keeping you back.
When your will to outperform others comes from a genuine desire to improve yourself?
It can’t go wrong.
When it comes from an insecure jealousy?
It can’t go right.
You’re doing for the wrong reasons.
That’s why you’re scared of competition.
Not because competition itself is bad.
But because you’re too much of a coward to accept your shortcomings and work on them.
You won’t always be the best at everything you do.
But you can still give it your all and learn from those outperforming you instead of envying them.

16 WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR SOCIAL SKILLS:
1. Compliment people. Do it often. Do it publicly.
Everybody likes to be praised.
And most importantly, people like those who praise them.
Show people that you value them, in front of others.
Just don't kiss ass.
Be subtle about it.
Don't compliment the obvious.
2. Don't avoid small talk.
No conversation starts deep right from the get-go.
Small talk is a bridge to deeper conversations.
Get better at it by not avoiding it.
3. Ask more questions.
People like to talk.
People like to feel knowledgeable.
Give them an opportunity to showcase their knowledge.
4. Stand your ground.
Accept zero disrespect from anyone.
Set clear boundaries and don't fear confrontation when your limits are overstepped.
5. Never lose your cool.
Confrontation does not necessarily mean losing your temper.
Confronting people calmly is possible.
Do not get emotional.
Make your point and stay cerebral.
6. Take your time when talking.
A conversation is not a race.
Pause. Think.
Pick your words carefully.
7. Stop apologizing so much.
Instead, thank people for their understanding.
8. Go out alone and talk to as many people as possible.
If someone's not willing to converse with you, move on and let them be.
Don't force it.
9. Don't just avoid gossiping.
Don't let it happen in front of you.
When the people around you start doing it..
Explicitly tell them it's useless and change the topic.
That lets them know that you wouldn't talk behind their back either.
10. Observe people.
Go sit somewhere and observe people's behavior.
Try to understand where they're coming from.
This increases your emotional intelligence and empathy.
11. Stop being overly available.
Have your priorities straight and don't let people waste your time.
This is an important boundary and many fail to set it.
12. Learn a new language.
It allows you to explore a new culture and expand your understanding of human nature.
Old sayings & expressions from a different culture give you a new perspective on people.
13. If you're afraid of rejection:
Practice your conversational skills with a taximan, a barista or a waiter.
Their job consists of talking to the customer.
Unless they're highly unprofessional, they won't turn you down.

The ability to make new friends & allies is a crucial skill no matter where you go.
Yet most people have trouble joining existing groups and making their place in new environments.
Here are the exact steps to follow to integrate a new group of people effortlessly:
1. Don't let the group pick you:
This is where it all starts.
Many times, you will find yourself around people you have no interest in. Especially when joining a new environment, you may find yourself hanging out with people who don't necessarily interest you.
This is why it's important that YOU pick the group of people you want to be around
You shouldn't be someone who simply goes with whoever approaches them
Because if your interests turn out to be diverging, you are more likely to get influenced by them than benefit from them
2. Observe the Power Dynamics & Codes:
In any group of people, there will be a hierarchy and social codes that the group obeys.
Most of the time, these things are unspoken.
But let me list 6 questions to help you identify the dynamics of ANY groups.
1. Who calls the shots?
2. Who's desperately seeking attention?
3. Who do people look up to?
4. How long did the members of the group know each other?
5. How does the group treat new people?
6. Who decides what's funny and what is not? (very important)
3. Make Friends with the Leader:
The best way to ensure you get a respectable position within a group is by joining it through the higher-ups rather than being introduced through regular members.
If your entry ticket is the leader of the group, you get better treatment.
Of course, this might make some people suspicious or envious of you, but that's why it's important to observe the power dynamics beforehand. It will help you forecast their reaction and know who is likely to cause you trouble.
4. Don't compromise on your boundaries:
Although we made sure to reduce friction, there will still be people who will try and test your boundaries at the beginning.
It is of utmost importance that you do not compromise on them and set them as clear as possible.
How you express your boundaries sets the tone for how the group will treat you.
If you let things slide too early, you will fail to make a respectable place.
One last thing:
Do not be too available.
Always keep a distance from your groups of friends and avoid their drama.
Spending too much time with a specific group makes respect and boundaries erode and can lead to unhealthy dynamics.
Stay in control of your time and attention.
Here is a good starting point.

Life makes sense and takes all its meaning when you have a purpose and a vision.
A clear direction.
Every move must be intentional.
Every move must mean something.
Every move must make sense.
A goalless life is worth nothing.
Even if you’re exceeding other people’s standards.
Do it for yourself.
Define your own path.
Have a crystal clear vision.
Not a vague idea.
If your vision isn’t clear enough, you will lose yourself in the redundant tasks.
You will hate everything you do.
If your vision is absolutely clear?
You will love each and every iteration.
You need to know WHY you’re putting in your reps.
You need to SEE it and VISUALIZE it.
You need to know deep down in your heart the real meaning of each iteration and repetition.
It needs to be fulfilling not boring.
You find purpose by choosing where you want to be in the future.
That is the only way to enjoy anything.
Navigate life blindly and you’ll soon find yourself hating each and every breath you take.
It will feel dull.
Don’t do that to yourself.
Find what you truly desire.
Make a step by step plan.
Be ready for surprises.
Then take on life head on.
Full speed.
No brakes.
Intense adrenaline.
You’ll every “boring” moment of it.
And every time doubt creeps in?
Remember where you’re going.
Then get off your ass and start moving the needle.
Everything you do must build up the vision you built in your mind.
That’s the whole game.
Good luck.

"Organization is the essence of life"
I've heard this sentence every single day for 18 years.
Every. Single. Day.
My father would repeat this any time he saw me or my brother get stressed or messy.
It used to bother me.
I would think to myself "Heeere we go again"
It really just sounded like a platitude.
Although I didn't know what a platitude meant at the time..
But the older I got.. The more I understood the message.
Not just because I needed to be more organized as I got more responsibilities...
But mainly because I saw one thing:
My father never struggled.
He always had everything figured out to the dot.
The definition of a man with a plan.
Or so I thought...
You see it's not about a Robotic life where every second is scheduled.
Not at all.
It's simply about knowing your priorities.
That's 80% of the work.
Whenever I heard "systemize" or "organize" I'd think that shit was for nerds.
"I'll just free ball it and see what happens"
And it worked for me; for a long time.
But then it didn't.
Because I left to uncertainty things that I could have completely controlled.
You lose track of time.
You miss deadline.
You slack.
And you get behind in life.
But it's when I added a simple routine to my days that I finally felt in control.
None of that happens now.
What's that routine?
A simple to-do list.
Before going to bed I note down everything that has to be done the next day.
See.. Not some crazy complex system.
Just a bit of organization.
This simple habit not only helped me gain control of time.
It also helped me be more enthusiastic.
Waking up earlier.
Knowing exactly the steps to take.
From there on it's just taking down obstacles.
By noon? All is done.
That's how I have so much free time now.
It took me years of denying it.
I had to see it in front of me.
And I messed up a lot.
My advice?
Don't make the mistakes I made.
Get organized.
Get your priorities straight.

Fool me once.
Shame on you.
Fool me twice?
Shame on me.
That's how the saying goes.
"It sounds extreme!"
I know.
And that's fine.
The idea is that you shouldn't even be fooled ever - once is already one time too many.
Yes, it will happen.
Yes, it's inevitable.
But no, there is no excuse for it.
There cannot be a second opportunity.
Learn your lessons
Four words:
Internal Locus of Control.
If someone fools you, it's because you allowed them.
It's not (only) because they're dishonest.
It's also (and mainly) because you allowed them to.
Here is the thing:
Manipulative people prey on weakness.
Manipulative people stay away from strong characters.
The conclusion?
You shouldn't give away your trust too easily.
Now, I agree.
The word shame isn't the right one.
Because you shouldn't feel guilt or shame.
You should learn your lesson.
Read the signs.
See the clues.
Get the patterns.
Manipulation and foul play always comes from the same type of people.
It is your duty to identify them and leave no room for manipulation.
How?
Clear Boundaries
Understanding Dynamics
Strong Character
Hard-to-earn Trust
If you apply the above?
You put manipulators off.
They won't be up for the challenge.
They'll leave you alone.
Get this:
It is imperative that you protect yourself from manipulation by making sure manipulators don't have the opportunity to play their tricks on you.
And there are way too many of them out there.
Be it in love.
Be it in business.
Be it in professional settings.
You will encounter people who have very poor intentions.
You will encounter people who get off by using people.
You will encounter people who will take everything from you.
But those people?
They will leave you alone if they don't see an opportunity.
Do not give away your trust too easily.
Become an excellent judge of character.
Understand human nature and human behavior.
This is an irreplaceable skill.
You can be the best at what you do
You can be the most competent in your field
But if you don't see clearly in people's game?
You won't get the credit you deserve.
You won't reach your full potential.
You will get fooled.
And you will regret it.
Learning human nature and social skills is not a luxury.
Understanding power dynamics is not a bonus.
These things are mandatory.
You will have to deal with people EVERYWHERE you go.
You better be equipped for such instances.
You better be ready for it.
I myself have encountered many such people in my life.
I've had to deal with difficult people in my life.
And looking back?
I would have handled it better if I knew what I know today.
This is exactly why Atlas (my brother) and I have founded Social Skills University.
It is closed until September 12th.
Once it's open, I hope to see you inside.
PS: In the meantime, get the free Social Skills Playbook. I'm sure that alone will open your eyes on a lot of things.
