Here’s a random tutorial on making confetti! The real purpose of this tutorial is showing another use case for the random per island output of the geometry node! In a future video I can show how you can combine different nodes with this one to add randomness per island per object and allow different seeds!

In Blender, pressing Alt+D is used to create a linked duplicate of an object.
This means: It makes a new copy of the selected object. If you make changes to one copy, they will be applied to all linked copies.
Shift+D (not Ctrl+D, I'm sorry, mixed it up) duplicates an object independently. It creates a separate copy of the object. Changes made to one copy won't affect the others
