I’ve been on this mission to learn new tools straight from the docs, no tutorials, no videos, no Ai, just raw documentation energy. It was going great… until I met AWS. 😭 Not only is it not free, but I instantly got a taste of the kind of confusion I’ll face if I ever actually use it. I thought it’d be a nice resume booster and a fun little challenge. Little did I know, it’s not your average documentation it’s a full-blown mental boss fight. 💀 I don’t even remember eating lunch; next thing I know, I’m just staring at the wall for hours. It’s suddenly night, my side project’s untouched, and I’m emotionally disabled. AWS didn’t teach me the cloud it became the cloud and erased my day

When I finally think it’s deployed, then Render and Vercel pop up like:
"Build failed…" but somehow, it’s live?👀
Instant terror + confusion

Using Hasab AI to do my little brother's homework 😂😂. This Amharic AI is really handy.
Check it out. You won’t regret it!

Today I’m studying something totally unrelated to programming on paper, but I’m not letting my laptop have his best day yet. I’m installing Android Studio just to make him suffer.
Good luck handling that, Mr. Core i3, 1970 edition, 4GB RAM

recently used TanStack Query turns out my whole React life was a lie. ain’t building another app without it ever again.
Every Linux user (at least me) spends like 70% of their time in the terminal, and cd is the usual way to move around.
But have you seen a better version of cd? Check out zoxide 👉 https://github.com/ajeetdsouza/zoxide
Just type z <folder-name> and it teleports you there no need to remember the full name, path or capitalization.
It’s simple, fast, and honestly should be the default!

Morning! Today we start the day by heroically rejoining Twitter for absolutely no reason… 😂
Of course, I forgot my password — classic move.
Went through the whole “forgot password” thing, only to be told “you can’t use your old password.”
Perfect. Nothing like getting roasted by an app before breakfast.

Building projects is hard.
Not the debugging part, not even coming up with ideas the real struggle is sticking with it till the end.
Once you skip a project, it messes with your flow and kills your motivation for the next one.
For me, it used to happen because I’d take on huge ideas, give up when I hit walls, or switch tools whenever something shiny showed up 😅
But I’ve passed that stage now I stick to consistent, stable tools and build with patience. That’s where real growth kicked in.
Every solo dev goes through that phase you start building something, imagine it at a continent level, but by the time you finish, it’s just a mini city 😂
Still, reaching the point where you can build complicated things without shortcuts, exactly how you imagined them that’s the real goal.
I’m getting there slowly, and I hope every dev reaches that stage too.
