Build your own Police Scanner:

2. Get a trunking software system like sdrtrunk: https://github.com/DSheirer/sdrtrunk/
3. Find your local county trunking system's control channel, for MSP you can look at the ARMER system here: https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=3508
4. Follow these instructions to get your SDR set up: https://www.rtl-sdr.com/rtl-sdr-quick-start-guide/
5. Boot up SDRTrunk, configure a new channel pointing to the control channel in your county (ARMER uses P-25 Phase I, LSM simulcast for system and modulation)
