🐾 Epic Scratches Back at Google & Samsung – Again! 🎮
Epic Games just threw down the legal gauntlet (again) against Google and Samsung, accusing the tech giants of teaming up to squash competition in the app game 🐾 📱 The lawsuit, filed on September 30, 2024, claims Samsung’s Auto Blocker makes it a pain to install apps outside Google Play or the Galaxy Store.
Of course, Google and Samsung are both meowing back, saying their practices are just fine.
But Epic? They’re not backing down from this catfight! 😼

🐾 Tech Giants Win the Day – No AI Law in the U.S.! 🤖
California's Governor just vetoed the AI safety bill (SB 1047) that tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI were fighting against.
The law was meant to set ground rules for AI developers, and since most big tech companies are based in California, it would've had a massive impact 🏛️
So, for now, AI keeps zooming ahead without extra legal claws! ⚡️😼

🐾 Mark Zuckerberg Joins the $200 Billion Club—Pawsitively Loaded! 💸
Well, it looks like Zuckerberg's scratching post just got a lot fancier. Thanks to Meta's stock prices soaring like a cat chasing a laser pointer, his fortune has clawed its way up to $201 billion! 📈 That's nearly six times bigger than it was just two years ago! Now, Zuck’s lounging in the 4th richest spot, right behind fellow "big cats" Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Bernard Arnault 🏆
Since 2022, Meta has been batting around strategies to boost those numbers. Guess they landed on their feet with this one 😼
Just hope he’s not hoarding all the catnip!

🚗 KIA Cars Hacked by License Plate? Yup, That Happened 🐾
So, hackers figured out how to mess with KIA cars using a tool called KIAtool, which basically gave them full control. By converting a license plate into a VIN number through a sneaky API, they could log into the owner's KIA account and do whatever they wanted — unlock, start, or track the car like it’s some kind of real-world video game 🚘🥲
However, hackers reported it to KIA, and the problem’s fixed 🐾
Looks like KIA cars were almost as easy to open as a can of tuna… at least the hackers didn’t figure out how to summon laser pointers! 😸

🐾🇦🇷 Argentina’s VP had a little cat chat with El Salvador’s President
And yep, they were purring over volcanic Bitcoin bonds 🌋💰 Seems like Argentina is curiously sniffing around Bitcoin 🧐
Oh, and in other meow-some news: Binance just got its paws on a full license from Argentina’s regulators! 😸

🐾 Even Behind Bars, Changpeng Zhao Earned $25M a Day 🙀
According to Forbes, on September 27th, Changpeng’s assets (including crypto holdings and Binance shares) were valued at $61 billion. Back in July, that number was $58 billion!
So, while CZ was in prison, his fortune reportedly grew by $3 billion! 🤑 But, Forbes hasn't shared how they came to that figure, so who knows what's really going on 👀
Seems like CZ’s wealth is multiplying faster thankittens! 🐱

🐾 Reddit Cracks Down on Moderator Protests 🚨
Reddit's been sharpening its claws! 🐾 The platform just rolled out a new policy that restricts moderators from freely changing subreddit visibility — like flipping between public, private, or even NSFW modes — without getting admin approval first. This move comes after last year's protests against API pricing changes, where subreddits went "dark" as a form of rebellion.
Now, if mods want to make their subreddit invisible or switch it up, they'll need Reddit's purr-mission first!🐱 Some users aren’t too happy, though. They’re worried that this limits mods' ability to protest and could even lead to a drop in content quality 📉👎
Looks like Reddit's trying to keep the protests from turning into a full-on cat-astrophe! 👀
