Mina Protocol: the potential of a new mini-blockchain
Mina is a unique blockchain that uses the well-known PoS consensus mechanism while storing blockchain data and transaction history in a compressed form. A unique feature of the Mina blockchain is its size, which is only 22 KB. This is drastically different from other networks in the industry. For comparison, Bitcoin blockchain already exceeds 350 GB, while Ethereum blockchain will occupy over 827 GB of your disc space. But there’s more to it: no matter how much time passes or how many transactions occur, the size of the blockchain will never increase past 22 KB.

As you may be aware, SmartTrade v2 was rolled out for API in October 2020. In this update, we are using a new processing engine to handle your smart trades, making them more flexible, faster and easier to use.
As an added bonus, SmartTrade v2 supports trades on Futures platforms such as Binance Futures, Bybit, Bitmex, and FTX Futures.
Yet, we still see some requests to the deprecated SmartTrade v1 API which will soon be discontinued and deactivated.
If you are having diffculty making the switch to the SmartTrade v2 API, please could you contact us at support@3commas.io and provide any feedback that may be preventing you from making the switch. Doing so will let us help you with the upgrade and improve SmartTrade along the way!
