We’ve made crypto trading more accessible to users who want to run more Grid bots, more experiments, or simply have a budget. 📊🔬

In addition to lowering the minimum trading balance to $100, we’ve also updated our default strategy settings and denoscriptions. 🔄📝

Rising 📈

To initiate the bot, we employ more buy orders than sell orders. By positioning the High price closer to the current market value, trading can begin with a smaller base currency amount, thereby reducing the risk of significant declines if there’s a sudden price drop. This strategy incorporates the Trailing Up function, enabling the bot to continue trading if the price breaks out beyond the initial grid.

The minimum Rising strategy requirements are as follows:

1 sell line
9 buy lines

If the available balance on the chosen pair allows for more lines, the bot creation form will automatically increase their quantity, primarily for buy orders. 📈📉

Stable 📊

Suitable for trading in a sideways market, particularly one with higher volatility within a stable range of resistance and support. The Stable strategy features fixed High and Low prices for the bot's trading range.

The minimum strategy requirements consist of:

5 sell lines
5 buy lines

If the available balance on the chosen trading pair allows for more lines, the bot creation form will automatically add them. 📊🛠️

Optimizer changes 🔄

Previously, the optimizer could fine-tune any settings but it is now only available for bots with 50 or more lines. This is a positive change because it’s far more precise now. ✅🔧

Hey fellow Coinbase Pro traders, 📣 Coinbase will be migrating Coinbase Pro users to Coinbase Advanced as they complete the merger. These two services use separate API setups, so your Coinbase Pro bots are most definitely going to break once they shut down the API connections. 😱

In the email we received, Coinbase says it will begin on October 2nd 🗓️, but it’s not clear if they’re migrating all accounts at once, or if they’re doing it in stages. You’ll want to contact Coinbase support if you need a clearer answer for when it will happen for your account. 📧

Either way, it’s going to happen, so you can get a headstart by migrating to Coinbase Advanced and getting your API connection set up so you can migrate your bots and not worry about any trades left hanging. 🚀
