Let's look at historical data from recent Binance listings to identify a possible pattern.

Let's compare the price behavior at the time of listing and after a period of time to see if it's worth buying newly-listed coins on Binance immediately after a pair is added. Details are available here.

The price during the listing was considered to be the opening of a second 1H candle.

Green indicates the change in price from listing to peak values.

Red indicates the price change from listing to current values.

What do all coins have in common?

1) By now, almost all coins have fallen below their listing values. The only exception is FOR.

2) Every coin has reached new local maximum values.

What are the conclusions?
You could profit in every case of buying a coin at the time of listing for fast trades, however, once the novelty of the new listing has worn off, the values of the coins drop so it is vital you trade with caution!
