GOP senator introduces bill to defend gun dealers from Biden's 'gun-grabbing agenda': 'Extremist policies'

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) introduced legislation to protect gun owners from what has been called a ‘Biden administration crackdown on gun dealers’ as part of a larger anti-gun push by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

The bill will "provide firearm licensees an opportunity to correct statutory and regulatory violations, and for other purposes" It also says "Attorney General may not bring an enforcement action to revoke, or deny a renewal of, a license for a violation of any provision of this chapter or any implementing regulation thereof on the basis of a self-reported violation."

💥122 gun dealers had their licenses revoked by the Biden admin last year

Ernst says the bill aims to ensure the government works with gun dealers to comply with the law rather than shut them down.

A team of phenomenal volunteers are registering voters at the Lancaster Courthouse

in response to the PA Dept. of Agriculture waging a war against raw milk & farmers.

They just registered a young Amish man to vote!

Today the House is voting on another CR to continue Nancy Pelosi’s budget and Democrat policies like the green new deal, DEI, and wide open borders.

I’m voting NO.

Again, just like I voted NO on all the other CRs and just like I voted NO last Congress on Pelosi’s budget.

Today’s CR is supposed to be for a week and then I hear we are likely voting on a minibus next week.

At the beginning of this Republican controlled Congress we heavily debated about only passing single issue spending bills and never ever voting on any CRs.

8 Republicans even joined the Democrats and ousted our first speaker for dare breaking the “rules” but now today will mark the third CR for our second speaker, since that fateful day in October, followed by a minibus package of spending bills that none of us have even seen.

It’s back to being the House of Hypocrites.

🚨House Approves Temporary One-Week Measure To Prevent Gov’t Shutdown

Republicans and Democrats came together in a 320-99 vote to approve a short-term stopgap measure.

✔️ 113 Republicans voted yea

The stopgap bill extends government funding short-term.

The government’s deadline to pass a full year appropriations bill is extended from March 8th to March 22nd by this bill.

This is the 4th stopgap bill passed since October 1st that has been needed to keep federal agencies open.

112 properties were identified to be deemed to be ‘imminently dangerous’ are still in disrepair more than one year after receiving the Licensing and Inspection violation. Some going back to 2020.

Thousands more properties that were cited as “unsafe” also have open violations, dating back to 2017.
