Forwarded from Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene
Today the House is voting on another CR to continue Nancy Pelosi’s budget and Democrat policies like the green new deal, DEI, and wide open borders.
I’m voting NO.
Again, just like I voted NO on all the other CRs and just like I voted NO last Congress on Pelosi’s budget.
Today’s CR is supposed to be for a week and then I hear we are likely voting on a minibus next week.
At the beginning of this Republican controlled Congress we heavily debated about only passing single issue spending bills and never ever voting on any CRs.
8 Republicans even joined the Democrats and ousted our first speaker for dare breaking the “rules” but now today will mark the third CR for our second speaker, since that fateful day in October, followed by a minibus package of spending bills that none of us have even seen.
It’s back to being the House of Hypocrites.
What comes next?
$60 billion for Ukraine while our open border rages and Americans are killed by illegal border crossers?
@RepMTG

The US is bracing for complex, fast-moving threats to elections this year, FBI director warns
Wray said artificial intelligence and other technological advances have made interference and meddling “easier for both more and less-sophisticated foreign adversaries to engage in malign influence.”
“As intelligence professionals, we’ve got to highlight threats in specific, evidence-based ways so that we’re usefully arming our partners and, in particular, the public against the kinds of foreign influence operations they’re likely to confront,” Wray said.

Maine residents in uproar over $13million migrant housing complex where asylum seekers can stay RENT FREE for two years then pay 30% of rent
Maine plans to construct a $13 million complex of 60 furnished apartments for asylum seekers, where they can live rent free for two years then pay a fraction of the rental price.
Brunswick, ME residents have expressed fury over the project. It which is being funded by a mix of private and public money.
The going rate of a one bedroom apartment in Brunswick is $1,800 a month. A two-bedroom unit is $2,300 a month.
These assylum seekers will be able to live rent-free for up to 2 years while obtaining work permits. The state has set around $2 million aside to cover rent at the properties for 2 years
Then, if they obtain a job that pays half of the average local salary of $60,000, they will only have to pay a third of the rental price.
That cost would be:
✔️ $500 for a one bedroom
✔️ $690 for a two bedroom
📝’Although the Town of Brunswick did not initiate this project and is not paying to subsidize these units, it did coordinate a community-based fundraising effort to purchase furnishings for the apartments.'

Border agents reveal what REALLY happened in their long-awaited meeting with Biden at the Rio Grande as Texas Democrat reveals the president has plans to return
U.S. Custom and Border Patrol agent Jason Owens: 9We talked about our challenges that we face on the border and things that we need to be able to do a better job of border security. It was good to have him here, to have him ahead and listen to that to the issues that we that we're facing…”
Biden also said he'd like to return to the border. Thursday's trip was only the second of his presidency.
After his tour of the border area, Biden received a briefing from CBP agents at their Brownsville station.
However, the National Border Patrol Council, a union made up of border agents, was not invited to President Biden's meeting. The union has been highly critical of Biden's handling of the border. Brandon Judd, president of the border patrol union, was 324 miles away joining Donald Trump on his border visit at Eagle Pass, Texas.
