Radiation Leak In Russia's Khabarovsk: What We Know So Far

Here's what we know about the radiation leak:

-Russian news agency TASS said in a report that elevated radiation levels were detected near a power pylon about 2.5 km from residential buildings. It added that source of the radiation has been found.

-The source was "removed and placed in a protective container" and "transported to a radioactive waste storage facility".

-No one had been injured or exposed to radiation and "there is no threat to the health of citizens", TASS quoted the local branch of Russia's consumer safety watchdog as saying.

-Videos from the city have appeared on social media and show a man wearing a nuclear protective mask with a radiation reader, according to Metro. The metre on the device quickly rises as the man walks over a "waste dump", the outlet further said.

-The man is heard saying on camera that the number on the metre was 20, enough potentially to increase cancer risk, damage DNA, cause foetal damage, and threaten the health of children, the outlet further said.

-Authorities said radiation levels would be monitored for the next two days and the source of the radiation would be investigated.

Scientists Warn Bird Flu Pandemic Could Be ‘100 Times Worse’ Than COVID-19

Here we go again.

The Texas Department of State Health Services confirmed the first human case of avian influenza A(H5N1) in the state, linked to contact with infected dairy cows.

The patient suffered from conjunctivitis, also known as pink eye, and is expected to make a full recovery.

John Fulton, a vaccine consultant and pharmaceutical industry expert, warns, “This appears to be 100 times worse than Covid, or it could be if it mutates and maintains its high case fatality rate.”

However, Jennifer Nuzzo from Brown University’s School of Public Health told PBS that bird flu poses a “quite low” risk to public health.

So, why all the scaremongering?

Elijah Schaffer suspects it has something to do with efforts to ram through the WHO’s Pandemic Treaty:

Melania Trump to Rejoin Former President on Campaign Trail

Melania Trump is back in the campaign arena beginning with an appearance at a fundraiser held by the Log Cabin Republicans later in April.

The group is the most prominent pro-LGBT Republican advocacy group in the country. It would be Melania's first public fundraising event in months.

SHOCK: Biden Administration Environmental Rules Estimated to Cost Americans Almost $1 Trillion

The cost of the environmental rules alone… implemented by this administration (WITHIOUT input from Congress) are projected to cost America s more than $845 billion.

Some of the expenditures:

💰$590 billion from 2027-2055 for an EV mandate on passenger cars- requires two-thirds of new vehicles sold by 2032 to be all-electric or hybrid.

💰$210 billion from 2026-2040 for a waiver sought by California to phase out 100% of new gas-powered cars by 2035.

💰$24 billion from 2027-2055 for roughly 25% of semi-trucks and other heavy-duty diesel vehicles to be electric by 2032.

💰$14 billion from 2024-2042 to slash nearly all emissions from fossil fuel power plants to achieve a zero-emission electrical grid by 2035

💰$7 billion from 2032-2051 to limit soot pollution levels.
