Irene Solaiman and I had a super constructive conversation last week with over 60 US Senators + AI stake-holders for more than 6 hours (!!). We tried to share the importance of openness, transparency and distribution of power in AI so that all individuals, organizations, & companies big and small can build with AI and influence the future of this foundational technology. It sounds like it was just the first one of these and that more people (as it's needed!) will be invited to the next ones.
