PSA: Telegram is now censoring audio files for "copyright infringement" to be in some "accordance with google policies".

I was not informed of this for some time since I use the non-google apk.

If you find that some files have been replaced with a message, saying "This message couldn't be displayed on your device due to copyright infringement"

Then you must download the Telegram APK directly from the Telegram website (https://telegram.org/), NOT from the google play store.

also my personal recomendation, wheter or not this is true at the moment, would be to install telegram foss. even more, install f-droid, is an app store for open source apps, and then from there install telegram foss, it will autoupdate and stuff

that fork of telegram also removes some of the excess of google things that the normal app has. no i am not being paid to promote them lol
