you'll probably recognise hyperliquid as the degen perp dex that trades FRIEND (friendtech) and the most recent ZRO hyperp

imo Hyperliquid's positioning will be as a memecoin/degen index perp dex which makes it stand out from competitors

just as how telegram bots ride on memecoin sniping, Hyperliquid will ride on memecoin perps/degen indices and perp dex narrative

Hyperliquid runs on its custom built L1 that is focused on running a perp dex. It uses a tuned version of Tendermint, but does not rely on Cosmos SDK.

Trading thus far has been gasless, making it quite a smooth experience. Gas is only required during deposit/withdrawal which takes place on Arbitrum (only USDC.e is accepted for now).

I participated in some vaults as well to increase my airdrop chances. Will be moving to trade on Hyperliquid for now.

I support the idea that RLB team fairly burns tokens but let me explain what I mean:

1. If you deposit RLB on SOL chain to Rollbit, it will be moved to this wallet with 700M RLB (bridge address, right?) https://solscan.io/account/RBHdGVfDfMjfU6iUfCb1LczMJcQLx7hGnxbzRsoDNvx
2. So there is at least 700M bridged. Looking at top RLB holders, I don't see any address that can potentially be additional bridge address, so I assume there is only 700M RLB bridged.
3. So, Solana tokenomics is:
– 5b initial supply
– ~1.8b fairly burned on Solana chain
– also 0.7b bridged, so real RLB supply on Solana is 2.5b

4. Let's move to Ethereum:
4.1 Rollbit minted 5b RLB and fairly burned ~1.8b (the same amount that is burned on SOL)
4.2 Current RLB distribution on ETH chain: RLB Deployer address holds 2.17b RLB – probably the amount that is not bridged yet from Solana. It means ~1b RLB is bridged to ETH and is already in circulation (you might see this amount as OUT transaction from RLB deployer address.

Key question: why did Rollbit team issued 1b RLB on Ethereum chain while having only 0.7b bridged/locked on Solana? What are they doing with additional 300M on Ethereum?
