በኮቪድ-19 ወረርሽኝ እና በሰሜኑ ጦርነት ምክንያት ፈተና ሳይወስዱ የቀሩ ተማሪዎች መኖራቸው በ2016 ዓ.ም ለፈተና የሚቀመጡ ተማሪዎችን ቁጥር ከፍ እንዳደረገው የክልሉ የትምህርት ጥራት ማረጋገጫ ኤጀንሲ ገልጿል።
በዚህም ተፈታኞቹ ኮድ 01 እና ኮድ 07 በሚል በሁለት ተከፍለው ፈተናቸውን እንደሚፈተኑ የኤጀንሲው ዋ/ዳይሬክተር ታደሰ ካህሳይ (ዶ/ር) ለአራዳ ኤፍኤም ተናግረዋል።
ከዚህ ቀደም ከመስከረም 29 እስከ ጥቅምት 02 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም ድረስ ፈተና የተሰጠ ቢሆንም ሁሉንም መፈተን ባለመቻሉ አሁን ላይ ቁጥሩ ከፍ እንዲል ምክንያት መሆኑን ገልፀዋል።
የ2016 ዓ.ም የ12ኛ ክፍል መልቀቂያ ፈተና በትግራይ ክልል ከሐምሌ 02-12/2016 ዓ.ም እንደሚሰጥ ከዚህ በፊት መገለፁ ይታወሳል።
