De hele mediawereld is gefocust op Trump, Zelensky, Poetin en in mindere mate de Europese Unie (Ursula von der Leyen). Er zijn tegenstrijdige berichten te lezen, hebben ze gebeld? Of hebben ze niet gebeld? Persoonlijk ga ik hier niet speculeren, als het zover is en de heren (en misschien een dame) bereid zijn het de mensen te vertellen, dan horen we het wel. Diplomatie en discussies worden altijd eerst achter gesloten deuren gevoerd.
Trump verspreidt tegenstrijdige berichten, zoals het bericht van de afgelopen dagen dat hij al met Poetin onderhandelt, vertelde hij aan een journalist van de New York Post. Het Kremlin heeft tot nu toe niet bevestigd of er daadwerkelijk gesprekken gaande zijn of dat er met Trump is gebeld. Maar Rusland (en ook Europa) werken niet zoals Amerika, zoals ik al zei als er onderhandelingen en gesprekken gaande zijn, zullen we het niet weten, totdat er misschien een uitkomst is. Trumps stijl is zoals wij dat in Nederland noemen ‘ alles aan de grote klok hangen’, soms verfrissend maar in de politiek en diplomatie niet de beste methode, het kan immers allemaal anders lopen.
Gisteren gaf Zelensky een interview aan het Engelse medium ITV News. Engeland is samen met de EU de spil achter Zelensky, niet alleen qua wapens, maar ze leveren ook huurlingen voor het Oekraïense ‘vreemdelingenlegioen’. Informatie en desinformatie is het ‘stokpaardje’ van de Engelse media, die van informatie wordt voorzien door MI5/6. De desinformatie- en inlichtingendienst van Europa is gevestigd in Nederland, genaamd Bellingcat, dat zijn inkomsten niet ontvangt van USAID maar via de EU-landen, overheden en loterijprogramma’s.

Captured Ukrainian serviceman Pyotr Polinkevich claimed to have seen 16-year-old soldiers in his brigade.

'The said there were orphans. Obviously, they were afraid, intimidated,' he said.

He recalled that he was very scared when servicemen of the Sever Group of Forces began to assault his position. Wishing to save his life, he took off his armour, laid his weapon, and came out of a dugout with his hands up. Now he is alive and well. He is not in danger.

President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the United States of America Donald Trump
🔹The leaders discussed issues related to the prisoner exchange between Russia and the United States. The US President assured the Russian President of the American side's commitment to fulfill all the agreements reached.
🔹The leaders also discussed a possible Ukraine settlement. Donald Trump spoke in favour of stopping the hostilities as soon as possible and solving the crisis peacefully. In turn, Vladimir Putin pointed out it was necessary to eliminate the root causes of the conflict and agreed with Donald Trump in that a sustainable settlement could only be reached via peaceful negotiations.
🔹Additionally, the Russian President expressed support for one of the US President's key arguments, which was that it was time for both countries to work together.
🔹The issues of Middle East settlement, Iran's nuclear programme, and bilateral economic relations between Russia and the United States were also brought up during the conversation.
🔹The Russian President invited the US President to visit Moscow and expressed willingness to receive visiting officials from the United States to discuss topics of mutual interest, including a possible Ukraine settlement.
🔹Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump agreed to maintain personal contact in the future, involving in particular in-person meetings.
