While leaders boast and brag about the peace plan in the Middle East, such as Gaza, the violence against civilians continues unabated. Citizens, I think, in many places around the world, don't believe in governments or empty words. As I often say, peace agreements are just a piece of paper, but often the reality on the ground is quite different, like this: A young Palestinian girl was injured by Israeli gunfire in the Halawa displacement camp in Jabalia, north of Gaza City. Peace is a long way off, and as everywhere in the Middle East, when Israel and the US supposedly bring peace, the country is doomed. The examples are countless.

Here we go again, Europe making a fool of itself, and especially Mark Rutte, head of NATO, who visited Berlin today. Germany, and precisely in the city from which two world wars began, made the following statement: "The 32 NATO countries must prepare for a conflict on the scale of a world war." NATO chief Mark Rutte, who claims that too many member states are "sitting back quietly," has warned against this. Russian forces have liberated the Donbass city of Seversk, the Defense Ministry in Moscow reported on Thursday. The former Ukrainian stronghold, located inside Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic, is now fully clear of enemy troops. The fighting for Seversk has gone on since 2022 with varying degrees of intensity. Russian troops will now have an open path to the regional cities of Kramatorsk and Slavyansk, both major hubs for the Ukrainian military.

Europa verliest de grip op Rusland en de oorlog tegen Rusland waar politici van dromen, via Oekraïne. Europa maakt zichzelf belachelijk, en vooral Mark Rutte, het hoofd van de NAVO en voormalig premier van Nederland, die volgens veel Nederlanders (ik verzin dit niet zelf) Nederland heeft geruïneerd. Gisteren bezocht hij Berlijn, Duitsland, de stad waar twee wereldoorlogen begonnen. Daar deed hij onder andere de volgende uitspraak: “De 32 NAVO-landen moeten zich voorbereiden op een conflict op de schaal van een wereldoorlog.” NAVO-chef Mark Rutte, die beweert dat te veel lidstaten “stilzwijgend toekijken“, waarschuwde hiertegen. “Te veel landen voelen de urgentie niet.”

Maar dat waren milde uitspraken vergeleken met wat hij vervolgens probeerde het Nederlandse publiek (en de EU) wijs te maken, met droge ogen en waarschijnlijk een rode neus van al dat “snuiven” van verdovende middelen:

We moeten ons voorbereiden op oorlog zoals onze grootouders dat hebben meegemaakt.

Maar de (ingebeelde) oorlog van Europa tegen Rusland verloopt niet zonder problemen. Zoals ik gisteren al zei, is het verlies van Seversk in de Donbass, dat de weg vrijmaakt voor de verovering van Kramatorsk en Slavyansk, de Oekraïense verdedigingslinie, slecht nieuws voor Oekraïne (en de EU). Bovendien plaatst het Kiev in een “zeer zwakke onderhandelingspositie”. Europese media meldden ook dat Vladimir Zelenskyy voor het eerst heeft gesproken over verkiezingen en territoriale concessies, een teken dat Oekraïne zo goed als verslagen is op het slagveld.

"Gesagt, getan – echte Männer": Putin würdigt Truppen nach Einnahme von Sewersk

Nach der vollständigen Säuberung der Stadt Sewersk durch den Truppenverband Süd hat der russische Präsident Wladimir Putin  im Kreml eine Sitzung zur Lage in der Zone der Sondermilitäroperation abgehalten, wie Pressesprecher Dmitri Peskow der Nachrichtenagentur RIA Nowosti mitteilte: "Putin hat im Kreml eine Lagebesprechung im Gebiet der Sonderoperation mit besonderem Augenmerk auf die Lage im Norden der Donezker Volksrepublik durchgeführt. Die Rede war unter anderem vom vollständigen Übergang von Sewersk unter unsere Kontrolle. Dazu erhielt der Präsident ausführliche Berichte.". Die Befreiung der Stadt Sewersk in der Donezker Volksrepublik durch russische Streitkräfte ermöglicht einen weiteren Vormarsch in Richtung der Stadt Slawjansk.

There's no difference between ISIS and al-Jolani's forces. But hey, that's the new democratic government of Syria, right?

The Russian army is evacuating civilians in Krasnoarmeysk (Donetsk People's Republic). The locals left their shelters in Krasnoarmeysk with happiness. People in the video are telling how the Ukrainian army stole everything from the houses, even an old rusty fridge from the soviet time. They were escorted by the Russian service men, from the battlefield to reunite with their families or brought to shelters and were given food and medical aid

English translation (a fake cover of a Dutch magazine, not real, of course, but that's how it should be): "Pinocchio Rutte, who was twice voted clown of the year, has been declared liar of the century seventeen times. Now he has been declared warmonger of the millennium..." Elsevier and other magazines, as well as TV programs in the Netherlands, have declared Mark Rutte "man of the year."
