Use Fyreplace. Link below Highly recommended. It's inspired by one of the best and long buried social media apps called Plag**/Sola. No followers, just random content. Inspiring, thought-provoking, funny. Great community.

As tensions escalate between the Wagner private military force and the official Russian military, one can't help but think of the civil war that erupted in Sudan between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (described here: https://crimethinc.com/Sudan).
This is where militarization leads. As governments and corporations are relying more and more on brute force to suppress social unrest and channeling more and more resources towards police and private security towards that end, they are creating the conditions for horrific civil wars on an ever-widening scale.
This gives us another lens through which to read the events of January 6, 2021 in Washington, DC (see https://crimethinc.com/January6). It also drives home the importance of the fight to #StopCopCity and block the militarization of the police.

Since the statements that we published from anarchists in Russia were composed, Yevgeny Prigozhin has announced that his forces that were bound for Moscow have turned around, following negotiations with the ruler of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko.
Prigozhin may have bitten off more than he can chew, but so has Putin in Ukraine—or else he would not have needed Prigozhin in the first place. It remains to be seen how this crisis will play out in Russia in the long run. In Turkey, the failed coup attempt of 2016 enabled President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to consolidate power, but any sign of weakness and disunity can only imperil Putin. The volatile and unpredictable situation that our comrades predict in Russia is likely still ahead of us. It will be for the best if the forces contending in it are not two rival totalitarian despots, or at least, not *only* them.

Please circulate this call for solidarity with Soulèvements de la Terre in response to repression in France:
https://lundi.am/Appel-international-de-soutien-aux-Soulevements-de-la-Terre
Scroll down for English.
"Macron’s government has taken an unprecedented step in the repression of social and environmental movements. On June 21, the government decreed the dissolution of Earth Uprisings, which involves over 140,000 supporters and over 150 local groups. This was accompanied by waves of arrests of activists across France...
"We propose to continue making Earth Uprisings visible in public space: in front of social centers, through innoscriptions on walls, with banners and parties, rallies and direct actions, and other actions adapted to our contexts.
"For the global uprisings of the earth, and in solidarity with all who face repression around the world, we are calling for solidarity on June 28 in a variety of ways. Dozens of rallies will be held across France, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Catalonia..."

The ‘manning up of boys begins in the cradle.’ But what boys really need is emotional support from their dads
It’s ironic, but independence isn’t something you can learn all by yourself, writes Andrew Reiner. Boys need tolerant, empathetic adults — especially dads — in their lives to become self-reliant.
