Ich habe eine neue Podcast-Obsession, die mich gerade gleichzeitig informiert, amüsiert, agitiert und manchmal auch abstößt. „don‘t read theory“ kann man getrost als nerdiges linksradikales Nischenprojekt aus dem antinationalistischen,Ideologie-kritischen Spektrum bezeichnen. Aysegül und Valentin zerpflücken Debatten, Personen, Phänomene und Ideologien, manchmal jenseits der Schmerzgrenze, was oft aber auch selbstkritisch in späteren Folgen aufgearbeitet wird. Man kann dem Podcast vorwerfen, dass er innerhalb der eh schon marginalisierten linken Szene vlt zurecht weiter Beef produziert aber auch einfach anerkennen, dass hier pointiert, belesen, zuweilen recht neurotisch, rhetorisch teils herausragend und oft scharf analytisch denkend ein Gegenpunkt zu Affekt-getriebenen Debatten gesetzt wird.
