Shower or bath — which is more eco-friendly?
A regular shower uses about 40–60 liters of water.
A full bathtub requires 100–200 liters, and most people fill it to around 150 liters or more.
So a bath can use 2–3 times more water than a short shower.
But here are two important conditions for making your shower truly water-saving:
— Try to shorten your shower time — the shorter it is, the less water you use.
— Turn off the water while you lather, apply shampoo, etc. — this really saves dozens of liters.
Additional tips to save water at home:
Use a water-saving / low-flow showerhead
Don’t fill the bathtub to the top — if you want a relaxing bath, half-full is usually enough.
🌱 Small changes make a big difference. Saving water is not only about reducing bills — it’s also a contribution to preserving natural resources.
If you want more practical eco-habits, join our New Year Eco-Habits Marathon — you’ll find many tips for home, city life, work and online habits.

New marathon task! Task №8 — “Eco-Habits Online” block
Today we move on to a very important topic: educational eco-habits in the digital space.
This is not just about information — it’s about influence that can spread far beyond your country. 🌍
What is this task about?
Think about this:
👉 What was the last eco life hack or fact you learned online — and immediately applied?
👉 Did you share it with friends or people you know?
These are not random questions.
Fact: knowledge is the most powerful tool for protecting the planet.
When we study ecology, verify information, and pass it on to others, we create a global community of conscious people. And it is exactly such communities that spark real change — from local actions to international initiatives.
There are 3 difficulty levels for this task — more details are in the marathon chat.
Complete the task, mark it in your checklist, and share your results in the chat! 💚
🎄 This is one of several marathon tasks — you can still join!

🌿 Ecopulse at Environmental Forums in Russia!
Over the past two weeks, representatives of our project have attended two major eco-events in the country — and brought back a wealth of knowledge, contacts, and inspiration.
Samara — “Eco-Community 2025” Forum
Daria and Arthur represented Ecopulse at one of the most important events in the environmental sector. They gained a lot of valuable insights:
💡 Practical tools for project development
— During the workshop “How to Tame AI”, participants learned the basics of creating an AI assistant to help automate content and data processes within Ecopulse.
🤝 Networking and partnerships
— New contacts were established with 10 key environmental organizations, including Clean Environment, Green Russia, Voices for Animals, Berezhno, Resource Saving Center, For the Sake of Good, Station A, and others.
— At the Project Fair, the team connected with 7 additional initiatives from different regions of Russia.
These connections will become the foundation for future joint projects, experience exchange, and strengthening our international eco-movement.
Moscow — “Ecopositive 2025” Award & Forum
This weekend, Daria, Arthur, and Nuriya visited one of the most inspiring eco-events of the year in Moscow. They experienced:
🎤 “Green Transformation” Conference
Discussions on engaging people in environmental action, the role of AI in ecological solutions, climate adaptation, and biodiversity preservation.
🎬 Screening of the film “Forest. Keeper of Life”
A beautiful reminder of what we are all working to protect — the living, fragile nature that needs our care.
🏆 “Ecopositive 2025” Award Ceremony
A chance to meet the people and initiatives that make the country cleaner and more sustainable every day. Truly inspiring energy that stays with you.
Such trips are more than just attending events. They are:
✔ strengthening our expertise
✔ exchanging knowledge and finding new solutions
✔ expanding our partner network

🌍 5 cities that may go underwater sooner than we think
Venice, Saint Petersburg, New York, Jakarta, Bangkok…
It seems like these threats belong to a distant future?
Unfortunately, no. Climate change is happening right before our eyes.
According to the World Bank and the UN, around 20 million people become climate refugees every year — people losing their homes due to floods, storms, droughts, and rising sea levels.
But it’s important to remember: a lot depends on us too.
Every eco-habit is not a small thing. It’s a real reduction of pressure on the planet: fewer emissions, less waste, less destruction of ecosystems.
✨ One person can “inspire” dozens of others with their example. This is how awareness grows, new projects appear, and communities unite. And this is how global change becomes possible.
One of Ecopulse’s goals is to bring as many people as possible to the “green side.” Together, we can push back the scariest scenarios and preserve a world worth living in.

🌍 About 71% of the Earth’s surface is covered with water.
Sounds reassuring, right?
But here’s the reality:
💧 97% of all water is salty — it’s in oceans and seas.
💧 Only about 3% is fresh water.
💧 And from those 3%, less than 1% is actually accessible to humans — for drinking, agriculture, and daily use.
Most of the planet’s fresh water:
❄️ is locked in glaciers and permafrost
🏔️ lies deep underground and is difficult to access
⚠️ As a result, billions of people worldwide already face a lack of clean drinking water, and climate change, droughts, and pollution only make the situation worse.
✨ That’s why every drop matters.
Eco-habits are not “small things” — they make a real difference:
— turning off the water when it’s not needed
— choosing a shower instead of a bath
— protecting water resources every day
💚 Big changes are built from small actions.
Let’s make them together — join our international eco-activists chat.
