As someone with diagnosed adhd it’s genuinely crazy how so many people just sort of… don’t see adhd as a real mental disorder.

Like most people brush it off as “you just have anxiety”. Oh buddy… I WISHHHH it was just anxiety 😭

“I have adhd ahah 🤪🤪” girls when you tell them your body can’t function half of the time because you’re so depressed, you either hyper focus on the smallest things or don’t focus at all, you go into a paralysis when todays plan got changed because you’ve been preparing yourself for that plan for around a week, dissociate the time (i literally thought Flins banner came out four days ago. IT HASNT EVEN BEEN TWO DAYS.), get horrible urges you can’t control, genuinely so restless (I’ve bent my wrists and ankles so many times because of my urge to constantly move that my muscles genuinely hurt now.), you get ticks, overstimulation genuinely makes you SICK, prone to panic attacks easily, don’t shower for weeks because your body just can’t take it or you need mental time to prepare getting into the shower, takes you 3 hours to complete a 30 minute task, can’t sleep well because your brain is constantly ON, often forget to eat or do your tasks and generally just very very overly forgetful, constantly in your own head and you can’t stand certain noises without showing a very strong and aggressive reaction:
