2_ the timing of the incident, it's ridiculous to think that Putin or the MoD would kill Prigozhin and Utkin in such a spectacular way, especially during a landmark BRICS summit, there were 100s of occasions to eliminate them in a simpler way (accident or ambush in Africa, Belarusian "opposition" operative in the high ranks of Belarusian army during Wagner training of Belarusian special forces,...), MI6 and CIA on the contrary are interested in further undermining Russian international position while such an important summit is underway also by reigniting tensions inside Russia.
