Vault Deposit Update

For this week we have removed the allowance rate logic that normally depends on the amount of points earned during the previous epoch.

All users now have an allowance rate of 100%.

This means that if you recently withdrew funds from the vault to rebalance on Extended or other exchanges and now want to deposit again, you will be able to redeposit the full amount without any restrictions.

Extended Points: Week 24 Recap

Today we distributed 1,001,082 points to ~6,400 users based on their activity over the past week.

It’s been a challenging period for the entire community. We’re still reviewing user claims and will distribute additional points to those affected.

Extended Points: Week 25 Recap

Today we distributed 1,310,270 points to ~6,700 users based on their activity over the past week.

Of this pool, 300,000 points were distributed to users affected by the downtime that occurred during the night of October 10–11. These points were allocated to:
- Users with validated claims submitted via Discord tickets related to the downtime
- Liquidated users impacted by the severe market conditions
- Users who experienced delays in deposits or withdrawals

In addition, we reimbursed ~$500,000 to users who were directly impacted and incurred losses as a result of the downtime.

Please note that this week, the points pool exceeds the standard 1.2M weekly cap. However, no additional point emissions were made — as in previous weeks, less than 1.2M points were distributed.

Extended now supports Builder Codes

Builder Codes allow developers who build alternative frontends or strategies for Extended to earn a fee on every trade they route for users. This builder fee goes 100% to the builder.

We’ve just updated margin schedule for Group 3 and Group 4 assets.

Group 3: max leverage 25x → 50x
Group 4: max leverage 20x → 25x

Along with higher max leverage, margin requirements have also been adjusted.

Extended Vault Shares (XVS): Launch Plan

We’re releasing XVS next week. Rollout will happen in multiple stages.

Monday, Dec 8: Release Begins
- Extended Vault stops quoting for the release window
- Vault deposits and withdrawals are paused
- Core components are released in preparation for XVS

Tuesday, Dec 9: Launch Day
- All users with a positive vault balance receive XVS in a new sub-account (Vault Balance)
- XVS can be used as margin for trading on Extended
- Vault trading, deposits and withdrawals are re-enabled

We expect the release to complete on Tuesday, but the window may extend up to 48 hours.

XVS upgrades after launch
- 1 week: 50% XVS equity contribution + extra yield based on user activity (on top of base yield)
- 2 weeks: 75% XVS equity contribution
- End of year / early next year: 90% XVS equity contribution

Example
- At launch: $100 of XVS, earning Base yield only = $25 collateral
- Target state: $100 of XVS, earning both Base and Extra yield = $90 collateral

XVS yield explained
- Base yield (~15% all-time APR), earned by all depositors
- Extra yield based on trading activity: the more active you are, the higher your APR.

Release updates will be shared in Discord. You can already test XVS (with 70% collateral contribution) on testnet.

Vault Deposits & Withdrawals: Temporary Freeze

On Monday, Dec 8, we are starting the release of XVS (Extended Vault Shares). As part of the rollout, Extended Vault deposits and withdrawals will be paused starting tomorrow for up to 48 hours.

The Extended Vault just evolved

Introducing XVS: Extended Vault Shares that turn your vault deposit into yield-bearing collateral.

Trade on Extended exactly the same way you do on any perp DEX, while earning >15% APR on the same capital.

Over the coming weeks we will:
- Scale XVS contribution to Equity and Available Balance up to 90%
- Launch XVS Extra Yield on top of the Base Yield, where APR increases with user activity. The more you trade, the higher your yield.

Breakdown at launch:
- XVS contribution to Equity: 75%
- XVS contribution to Available Balance: 25%

XVS contribution to Available Balance has been increased to 50%.

XVS contribution to Available Balance has been increased to 75%.

A new mobile version has been released:
- Simplified overall app navigation to make it smoother and more intuitive
- Improved trade flow and upgraded tables
- Added portfolio and referral statistics

We’re still in the process of adding a few features and fixing some inconsistencies, but any feedback on the revamped mobile experience would be appreciated.
