also nvm, i didn’t know about all of the “controversy” behind it, thanks for making me aware, i am just switching to my thing now (i honestly don’t read up too much on the constant drama with open source stuff or honestly care too much as long as something is safe and works for me but like in this case i think since the whole project is an “opinionated” version of arch and hinges on one person if i don’t feel like i want to support or trust said person then yeah i won’t lol)

don’t feel like getting into details since i don’t want to stir up any more drama but pls keep me out of controversies regarding stuff i am not directly involved and have no control or agency or foresight over, politically speaking by now i have made my stances pretty clear here (and since some people asked me to be super clear about it: i am a total progressive, so i am pro lgbt in its entirety including all trans rights and i do not buy into any culture war bullshit or have any grudges against any country or ethnicity at all whatsoever), i do not have control over stuff (or cannot foresee stuff before it happens) in contexts where i don’t have a seat at the table to know stuff in real time, so what i can do, just like you, is only wait and see what happens and act accordingly going forward

i won’t knowingly support or work on anything that is damaging to people or civil society, and if you have followed me for a bit you know that, but i also can’t foresee the future or know everything all the time so if stuff happens just let me know and i’ll see what to do

just wanted to announce that i have paused my side freelance video work for now and for the time being i will be resuming full time work on my youtube channel

so yeah sorry for the delays and stuff i was juggling a lot of stuff in the air and not being able to work on my own projects with the necessary time or peace of mind

but now we are truly so back and i will be pulling a marathon to complete the ongoing project and move on to the next ones in line

no drama or anything btw
i did some work for a few companies because i like what they do and it felt like a good fit + the money helped me and my family a lot so i might do that again in the future if and when it feels alright :)

i just really want to get back on track because i love doing youtube more than anything and even if it is DEFINITELY not the most financially solid decision (thanks to my patrons for keeping this doable at all)
