تاثیر تحریک الکتریکی مغز بر روی اختلال خوردن: پرخوری افراطی binge-eating
پرخوری افراطی binge-eating اختلالی است که در آن خوردن مقدار زیادی غذا در مدت زمان کم بدون امکان کنترل اتفاق می افتد. 5% از بزرگسالان آمریکا از این اختلال رنج می برند. 1.2% زیر آستانه ای و 4.5% استعداد مبتلا شدن به آن را دارند. در حال حاضر CBT و دارو درمان های رایج این اختلال هستند که تاثیر زیادی نداشته، در تعداد زیادی از افراد بازگشت نشان داده شده است. پیش از این مطالعات tDCS کاهش افسردگی و ولع خوردن را در افراد با وزن متعادل و بدون داشتن اختلالات خوردن نشان داده بود.
با این فرضیه محققان دانشگاه آلاباما tDCS را بر روی 30 نفر از افراد دارای این اختلال آزمایش کردند. نتایج نشان داد ولع خوردن به صورت معناداری در مقایسه با گروه تحریک ساختگی (Sham) کاهش یافته و این کاهش در مردان بیشتر بوده است.
این مطالعه نشان می دهد که میتوان با مطالعات بیشتر و طولانی تر tDCS را به عنوان درمانی در کنار CBT برای کاهش طول درمان به کار برد.
این مقاله در مجله International Journal of Eating Disorders به چاپ رسیده است.

✅ The beta (12–30 Hz) and low gamma (30–50 Hz) powers in fronto-central regions were negatively correlated with inattention scores.

Highlights
🔹 MDD showed significant negative correlation with beta/gamma band power.
🔹 Subjective depressive symptom showed more variance to explain the inattention compared to objective symptom.
🔹 Anxiety did not have a direct effect on inattention, but was fully mediated by depressive symptoms.
🔹 qEEG could reflect the functional ability of patients with MDD.
