XDC has partnered Corda R3 and Swift has partnered Corda R3 and CordaR3 has built an only 'intern private chain' for all the Swift banks (more than 11.000 financial institutions in over 200 countries and territories to connect. You have to be a member to be on that private chain.
They made this year a bridge a connection from CordaR3 private internal chain to the Xinfin Blockchain.
So all the Swift banks and for Tradefinance(!) (look at Xinfins; "Tradefinex" on google) can use a private hybrid blockchain: Xinfins Xdc.
XDC is a hybrid blockchain (like hybrid cars that are electric and gas in one . It means that there is a privacy layer and a public layer.
Banks have strict laws and rules to listen to aka banking compliance and privacy ! is one of them and so important for them.
