Fun fact: the MK Ultra experiments between 1953 and 1973 were mostly perpetuated on unwitting Americans and Canadians. Curiously, these types of experiments were often blamed on the Nazis. This is actually what’s going on. You don’t have anything you can’t defend. When the system takes away your ability to defend your rights (with guns) then the tyranny will be much less gradual, and far less subtle.

Gun rights don’t completely prevent tyranny — just as firefighters don’t prevent all fires — but the ruling class knows it’s much more dangerous to tyrannize an armed population, because they risk getting shot at in the process — that is the critical difference!

I think this is the future of warfare. It won’t just be flying drones, but swarms of AI drones and also drone-tanks. This will allow tanks to become much smaller and more agile, because these tanks won’t have to accommodate a tank crew.

And soon, all these drones and tanks will be AI assisted and semi-autonomous, or fully autonomous.
