It’s become clear to me that most people around here really don’t understand the reality in America, for most Americans, because their entire map of reality comes from the internet. Their arguments for what ordinary Americans should be doing or should have been doing make assumptions about Americans that are actually ludicrous.
Most Americans don’t spend as much time as we do on political content and monitoring everything that happens. They’re normal people, focused more on their immediate surroundings, keeping their job, paying bills, and time with friends family — things that are objectively more important for them. Their problem is the opposite of “you need to touch grass.” That’s why they seem so oblivious to people in our movement.
Just like most people anywhere else, most Americans are normies. Instead of understanding that, people in our movement continuously get mad at Americans because they assume that everyone (especially Americans for some odd reason) should be as hyper informed and fixated on racial politics as we are.
I’m not going to tell people to touch grass or “get out of your room,” but bro, we need to stop projecting our worldview and perspective onto ordinary people. That’s no way to actually understand the majority of the population here or anywhere else.

Most Americans still don’t know about the Hart-Celler act. The OP assumes every American is as well informed on politics and race as we are, therefore he can place doubt on gun rights since “Americans didn’t do anything when they should have known in the 60s.”
They aren’t totally checked out of politics either, they’re just not as politically hyper focused and well informed as you are. At least not yet.

It seems I have to repeat this over and over again: Ukrainians are not fighting against Russia because of Zelenskyy. If you really think their motivation is to serve Zelenskyy, go and ask them, they'll all tell you why they're fighting — it's not for Zelenskyy. It doesn't matter if Zelenskyy is a gay Jew. He could be Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars or Sexyy Red, and it still wouldn't make one iota of a difference as to why Ukrainians are fighting for Ukraine, because they're fighting for Ukraine.
Just as everyone right-of-center in the USA agrees that we need stronger borders to keep third-world migrants out — regardless of who is president — Ukrainians also want their borders protected and respected, regardless of who the president of Ukraine happens to be, especially since their country is still being invaded by Russia. Imagine that! They're not that different from you!
Ukrainians are fighting to protect their self-determination as a distinct nation—that's the critical aspect of why Ukrainians are fighting. As I recall from the interview that Putin did with Tucker Carlson, Putin believes that the land and people of Ukraine belong to Russia because of medieval historic ties going back to the Kievan Rus, and likely also because they don't want a former Soviet Republic becoming part of the West and potentially NATO. That's why Putin sees Ukrainian Nationalism as a huge threat to his multi-ethnic empire, because all the different nationalities and races could be inspired by Ukraine to completely break off from the Moscow-centric Russian Federation. That's why Putin wants to "denazify" Ukraine. Putin's regime is literally Antifa — it's literally what Putin and his Kremlin cronies say. The invasion is officially an Antifa operation. You can't deny that Putin is an antifa when that is literally what he says he is. Putinism is this autocratic, Putin-centered russian-civnat neo-imperialism, as well as a real, original antifa ideology willing to use military force to attack Nationalism.
If you don't support the Ukrainian side in this conflict, you're condoning the ridiculous, aggressive antifa ideology of Putinism.
