The fact that people are OK with, and allow young women to go die for less than nothing is disgusting. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Australian government guns down protestors with rubber bullets (or live ammunition) and the people just surrender out of fear of pain or death. And when that happens, not if, when that happens, my belief about certain things like the second amendment will be absolutely vindicated.

This was from just over a week ago: they shot protestors with bean bag rounds while calling them pussies. The Australian government just keeps doubling down because it’s harder for them to admit they were wrong, and the government-apparatus likes its newfound totalitarian powers over the people. If protestors were to become more aggressive, the government would use more lethal measures that the civilian population would have no proportional response to.
