If you want to understand how “Asian Americans” think — and by Asian I mean East Asian — just imagine the typical Reddit user. I’d be willing to bet that “Asian Americans” are the most over represented group (per capita) among users of shitlib websites like Reddit.

My point is that outside of my immediate family, I’ve NEVER met a single “Asian American” person (part or full) that fully believed in (or even understood) any heritage American values — what we would think of here as rightwing values. The only exception being Filipino Catholics I once knew that opposed abortion for religious reasons, but that’s it.

When Whites compromise on their values in return for increased security and/or profit, it’s seen as pathetic, contemptible, traitorous and always shocking; but when East Asians exhibit that kind of docile lack of conviction, it’s seen as so standard as to not even be merit judgement — because that’s their default behavior.

Edit: Exceptions prove the rule. Asians are always more willing to compromising with power.

I agree with Devon, but I’d add that Heritage America (White America, particularly founding stock) is still a nation, whereas the United States is just this multinational empire that’s nearing its expiration date.
