In the normal settings for the game Project Dindu, the electricity, water and all utilities go out after 14 days. Once I officially add a backstory to the game, this will be the reason why all utilities are shut off.

Seeing this is like poetic justice from my perspective. Over a decade ago I was really heart broken when I couldn’t even join the National Guard because of psoriasis (which I had under control through medication) and an allergy to almonds. Despite wanting to be a warrior for my country, I couldn’t get the medical waivers for those two minor things because I was seen as “undeployable” — btw, don’t ever let anyone tell you the National Guard is the militia referenced in the 2A, because for one, they have a “federal mission” which means they are part of the Army and get deployed just like active duty.

I was and still am a physically fit guy that likes shooting guns, but every branch of the military said “No, we’d rather enlist lower aptitude blacks, women, gays, trannies and give waivers to obese people!” A recruiter even told me this in his own words. And now look at the military, they’ve shot themselves in the foot, the whole system is reaping its reward for rejecting and poorly treating the very people they needed most.

It’s just like suddenly seeing employers scrambling to hire anyone now, when before they expected job applicants to have 10 years of experience and a master’s degree.

Poetic justice!

☝🏻Our situation in the USA isn’t anywhere near as bad as it was for the Iberian people of medieval Spain, and they took their land back from the Arabs.

“Freedom is the will to be responsible for ourselves. It is to preserve the distance which separates us from other men. To grow more indifferent to hardship, to severity, to privation, and even to life itself. To be ready to sacrifice men for one's cause, one's self included”

My dad hardly taught me anything worth a shit. I’m sure many Millennials can relate.

I find that I’m almost always more capable than I thought I would be at something, but there’s usually a lot of trial and error involved, sometimes a lot of expense, too. (Learning the hard way). And I get weird looks sometimes when I ask something perhaps that is obvious, that in a normal society, I should have known by now (because my old man would have taught me).

If there’s any lesson for us in this, it is that things are to be taught, handed down. They must be, for any sort of culture worth a damn to survive. Obligations exist beyond just feeding your family and plunking down to watch TV.

"Conservative" and "ethnocentric" should be interchangeable terms.

The fact that they aren't speaks to how successful the left has been in getting the right to accept that identity is a function of ideology.

"[Our government] is a composition of the freest principles of the English constitution, with others derived from natural right and natural reason. To these nothing can be more opposed than the maxims of absolute monarchies. Yet from such we are to expect the greatest number of emigrants. They will bring with them the principles of the governments they leave, imbibed in their early youth; or, if able to throw them off, it will be in exchange for an unbounded licentiousness, passing, as is usual, from one extreme to another. It would be a miracle were they to stop precisely at the point of temperate liberty. These principles, with their language, they will transmit to their children. In proportion to their numbers, they will share with us the legislation. They will infuse into it their spirit, warp and bias its directions, and render it a heterogenous, incoherent, distracted mass."
