This is part of why i like the furry fandom so much. Its ok to snuggle folks as long as everyone consents to it, and its always a horrific whiplash whenever I interact with more normie types.
I am unsure if its something we can do much about though, although I will say that american society is so fundamentally broken and isolated that its going to take a massive effort to fix the damage done to both men and women if its possible
