Our dev team has been actively advancing Humanode's blockchain infrastructure, with a focus on Substrate updates. We're pleased to announce the merging of v0.9.42. Moreover, we are gearing up for the integration of BLS12-381, a step slated for version 117. For a more detailed overview of the progress, we invite you to explore Humanode GitHub.
🔺E2E Network Testing
In our quest for robust network testing capabilities, we're planning to develop a proprietary tool similar to ZombieNet. While ZombieNet served as our initial inspiration, we encountered limitations, especially when scaling to a large number of nodes. We aim to test the genesis with over 1K validators, with plans to scale up to 5K validators in the near future.
🔺 BotBasher Enhancements
We are delighted to announce significant enhancements to BotBasher. With the introduction of a new feature—token sustainer— now in production.
🔺 Preparations for Biometric Update
We are preparing for a routine update of Facetec, our primary biometric provider.

As previously announced, BotBasher has been updated to Gen4 and the server has been reset. Gen3 roles are deprecated and can no longer be obtained.
For everything to work smoothly, the server administrator of your Discord will need to create a new role based on the Gen4 BotBasher.
Some servers may not update immediately. For those on the Humanode Discord server, you can go ahead and become a verified Human again. As a note, this one verification process will be good for all Gen4 Discord Servers, and you will just need to tie your freshly verified account to the new role on all Gen4 servers.
Please note that this time we are running an experimental role revocation system. We expect everything to be fine, but you may observe unusual behaviour within the next 48 hours.
To do next:
➡️ Server admins - prepare new roles (or tweak and update current roles). Check this article out to see how to do it:
➡️ Users/Everyone else - claim your new roles! (i.e. Go to linked roles, select your role (in the case of Humanode, Verified Human)). Notably, the Biomapper now enables unstaking tokens and rewards claims without biomapping.

The Humanode Core team has decided to extend the duration of the current LP staking program by another 6 months by adding 2,628,000 HMND (the same amount as the last pool) to the WeHMND/USDC reward pool!
The current participants will be required to restake to a new pool. Once that’s done, rewards will start rolling in again the moment the reward pool is replenished.

In addition to this, for those who are feeling a little more bullish, we plan to launch a new LP staking program for WeHMND/WETH with 913,230 HMND allocated to the reward pool for 6 months. The weekend is upon us again, and so is part 2 of the Book of Yumi, the third story in the Humanode-inspired dystopian novel, 2067 -the equilibrium- by Humanode Media Lead, Shannon Higgins. In this episode, Yumi continues to struggle to find her path forward and the meaning of all the constraints in their life in the Community farming zone D6. As you know, the WeHMND/USDC LP staking contract 0xe9547763Baf3C89ba832bb912e6F3472cfC98402 concluded on May 18th, 2024.
However, the good news is, we'll be deploying a new WeHMND/USDC pool, scheduled for 12:00 UTC on May 20th, at block 7821390.
For those currently staked in the previous pool, move your assets to the new contract to continue earning rewards.
Remember, while no new rewards will be issued to the old pool, you can still claim rewards accumulated so far.
If you haven’t started staking yet, now is an excellent time to join and earn a passive income with a high APR between 100-1000%.

🔺 LP Staking Program Extended
The WeHMND/USDC LP staking contract (0xe9547763Baf3C89ba832bb912e6F3472cfC98402) concluded on May 18th, 2024. A new one for the WeHMND/USDC pool was deployed on May 20th at block 7821390. The team has extended the current LP staking program by another 6 months, adding 2,628,000 HMND to the reward pool. Additionally, a new LP staking program for WeHMND/WETH is anticipated. Stay tuned for more details!
🔺 Blockchain Progress
Our dev team continues to enhance Humanode's blockchain infrastructure. The version 118 chain release has been deployed to it6 and testnet5. For detailed insights, check out Humanode GitHub.
🔺 E2E Network Testing
Last week, we improved the Humanode network codebase by adding additional E2E tests and fixing warnings. We are developing a proprietary testing tool to address the limitations of ZombieNet, particularly in scaling to large node numbers. The goal is to scale up to 5K validators in the near future.
🔺 Robonode Enhancements
Robonode is our term for an autonomous virtual machine (VM) operating within a Trusted Execution Environment that securely stores the biometric data of validators. Last week, we completed the integration of the ScanResultBlob pattern on the Robonode side.
🔺 BotBasher and Biomapper Updates
Sessions in BotBasher and Biomapper now expire after 6 hours, a change from the previous configuration where sessions did not expire at all.
🔺 BotBasher x Telegram
Our dev team has been discussing Telegram integration with BotBasher, seeking expert input and brainstorming approaches. Last week, we began working on Telegram integration schemes.
🔺 Mainnet Website Localization
Significant progress has been made in localizing the Humanode website, with localization now shipped. Several locales, in addition to English, are in progress.
🔺 Mainnet Landing Page Updates
Updates include the participate tab and the active validator count.
