TL;DR
Hello to the fantastic Humanode community! A lot has happened since the last report, so please spend a few moments for our quick recap.
After 4 public testnets with over 10,000 unique participants starting in 2021, Humanode has launched the highly-anticipated crypto-biometric blockchain network where one human = one node = one vote that brings Sybil resistance and innovative governance models to the crypto industry using biometric technology. Two weeks after launch, Humanode mainnet has just hit ≈300 validators (278 at the time of writing).
The team noticed that some users are facing issues in claiming airdrop tokens. So far, they found out that some users haven’t mapped their addresses while others were facing issues with the mapper, and they contacted the team to resolve it. Currently, the team is working on solving this issue, and rest assured that anyone who participated in the testnet before August 16th and mapped addresses can claim the tokens. So if you are unable to claim the token, please find the form in this report and fill it in with all the details.
The good news is, MathWallet has integrated the Humanode chain and tokens, meaning the MathWallet mobile app will now support the HMND token for ease of use on your mobile phone! Math Wallet is a multi-platform universal crypto wallet that enables the storage of 50+ blockchains and 3000+ tokens and has 60,000+ users. This partnership gives Humanode users and HMND holders a more comfortable experience of holding, sending, and receiving their tokens via mobile apps.
Also, the Interchain Alliance has been formed by Humanode and a group of pioneering blockchain devshops, research teams, DAOs and individuals as a lens to focus the knowledge and experience towards building infrastructure enabling seamless interchain movement of capital, liquidity and communities to their most efficient applications. Humanode won the award for Blockchain Advancement of the Year for being the technology that will assist in pushing Blockchain technology into a new stratosphere and won against Polkadot, Solana, Cosmos, Algorand, and Cardano in the battle for Breakout Blockchain of 2022 for being the Blockchain that is most likely to unseat Ethereum.

The Humanode mainnet is up and running. It’s been nearly a month since the team launched the highly-anticipated crypto-biometric blockchain network where one human = one node = one vote that brings Sybil resistance and innovative governance models to the crypto industry using biometric technology. These weeks, the mainnet has hit more than 300 validators (307 at the time of writing) and the numbers keep increasing! On top of that, the first mainnet rewards have been distributed. TL;DR
Dear community, welcome to the last 2022 edition of Humanode biweekly! A lot has happened since the last report, spend a few moments with us for our quick recap.
The Humanode mainnet is up and running. It’s been a month since the team launched the crypto-biometric blockchain network where one human = one node = one vote that brings Sybil resistance and innovative governance models to the crypto industry using biometric technology. These weeks, the mainnet has hit more than 350 validators (358 at the time of writing) and the numbers keep increasing. It is always a pleasure to see the network grows!
The good news is, the third wave of mainnet rewards has been distributed. Check your balances!
The current Humanode’s development progress was minutely shared in the regular update. As for the network development, the team changed the default period for era at create_transaction at runtime, and added Alice bootnode to patch forked spec. Also, they implemented an initial HTTP server and manual validator compensation.
Moreover, The Humanode team has been working on integrations with Discord. During these weeks, they finalized the initial implementation, added Redis session store, docker support, protobuf structure, and allowed server listen address customization.
And last but not least, the Humanode Poetry Contest under the theme: “Biometric Evolution” has ended. Thanks to everyone who participated. Winners have been announced! Check the list in this report below.
