Many have asked “What happened to the NFT contest!?”. Well, to be honest, the phase 2 of the contest had been on hold due to having all of our development resources focused on building bridges and some new and exciting developments concerning DeFi.
Now that we have been able to overcome the major crunch, it is time to move on to phase 2 of the contest which will include minting the NFTs on the Humanode Chain, doing a raffle that will give everyone a chance to win one of the minted NFTs, the community vote to choose the best NFT, and then finally the contest to see which NFT gets traded the most!
And now to step one of phase 2… Vote for your favorite NFT out of the very first community collection!
Naturally, being the community collection, some are amazing, some are “work in progress”, and some are… well, interesting. Having said that, each and every one of them will become legendary for being the first of the many community collections to come!
So, this is how it will work. Go to the Humanode Discord sr-contest-voting channel, go over the submitted NFTs, and vote for the one you think deserves the noscript “Best NFT of the 1st Humanode community collection!”. As it will be held in the Sybil-resistant channel, it will be one person one vote, and you will need to be a BotBasher verified human to participate (or even see the channel for that matter)
The vote will be on for 48H, and the winner will be presented with $500 worth of HMND!

Hola Human nodes and friends!
As you are aware, the first stage of the Genesis NFT contest has concluded with the vote for the Best NFT contest voting.
And yes, there were some hiccups due to a third party voting bot. Sigh.
Before we announce the winner, let us go over the hiccup. Due to the fact that the voting bot only supported 25 options to vote on, and we had 27 entries, 2 Core members Entry #9 and Entry #16 withdrew from the “Best NFT” contest (but still remain in the pool to be minted and be used in the 2nd contest”).
Yes there was the hiccup that caused the voting to conclude early… but more confusing was when the bot announced the winner, it showed Entry #14 as the winner in the pie chart and stated that the winner was Entry #14, but in the bar graph, it listed No.13 as the entry with the most votes. Thus the confusion.
The answer here is rather simple. The winner of the contest was indeed “Entry 14”. The reason as to why it said 13 was the winner in the bar graph, is because it was the “13th option” out of 25, meaning Entry #14 (as Entry #9 was removed from the voting options, Entry #14 was the 13th option counting from 1st option in the mind of the bot even though the name attached to the 13th option was Entry #14).

As you are aware, the first stage of the Genesis NFT contest has concluded with the vote for the Best NFT contest voting.
And yes, there were some hiccups due to a third party voting bot. Sigh.
Before we announce the winner, let us go over the hiccup. Due to the fact that the voting bot only supported 25 options to vote on, and we had 27 entries, 2 Core members Entry #9 and Entry #16 withdrew from the “Best NFT” contest (but still remain in the pool to be minted and be used in the 2nd contest”).
Yes there was the hiccup that caused the voting to conclude early… but more confusing was when the bot announced the winner, it showed Entry #14 as the winner in the pie chart and stated that the winner was Entry #14, but in the bar graph, it listed No.13 as the entry with the most votes. Thus the confusion.
The answer here is rather simple. The winner of the contest was indeed “Entry 14”. The reason as to why it said 13 was the winner in the bar graph, is because it was the “13th option” out of 25, meaning Entry #14 (as Entry #9 was removed from the voting options, Entry #14 was the 13th option counting from 1st option in the mind of the bot even though the name attached to the 13th option was Entry #14).
