“Without doubt al-Ikhlāṣ negates the reason for entering into the Fire, therefore, who ever enters the fire, from those who said: ‘la illaha illa Allāh (there is none worthy of worship except Allāh)’ then this is proof that he never implemented the sincerity of “la illaha illa Allāh” which would have prohibited him from the fire.”

‘Abdullāh b. Sahl reported that he heard Yaḥyā b. Mu’āḍ (may Allāh have mercy on him) say: “To have patience with the people is more difficult than to have patience upon fire.”

Sakhr b. Ġāmidī narrated that the Prophet ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam said, “Allāhumā bārik li ʾummatī fī bukūrihā” (O Allāh, bless my ummah in the early portion of their days).

Whenever he sent out a detachment or an army, he would do so in the beginning of the day.

Ṣakhr was a businessman. He would send his merchandise at the beginning of the day, so he became rich and acquired a lot of wealth.“

Abū Dāwūd said, ”He is Ṣakhr b. Wadāʿah."

الشيخ ناصر الدين الألماني فقال - رحمه الله - كما في شريط: «حقيقة البدعة والكفرا:

“The Shariʿah is not just taken from the texts nor from just one Āyah or one ḥadīth,
الشريعة، لا تؤخذ من نص، من اية، من حديث واحد،

Rather it is all that is collected on that specific issue.
وإنغا من مجموع ما جاء في المسألة،

Therefore it is not just obligatory to collect all the texts regarding Fiqh issues so that we can know what abrogates from what is abrogated,
لذلك، ليس فقط المسائل الفقهـية يجب أن تجمع كل نصوصها حتى نعلم الناسخ من المنسوخ

The specific from the general,
والخاص من العام،

The absolute from the limited and, and, etc, rather gathering the texts for ‘Aqīdah is foremost by a long way.”
والمطلق من المقيد و..و.. إلى آخره، بل العقيدة أولى بذلك بكثير.

“If it were not for the concern of Aṣḥāb al-ḥadīth (the scholars of ḥadīth) with the precision of the Sunnan, gathering them, extracting them from their sources and researching the different paths, the Sharia’h would have become void and its rulings would have been cancelled out because the rulings were extrapolated from preserved Āthār (narrations) and they took benefit from the transmitted Sunnan.”

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The best generation is my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then comes a people after that whose swearing precedes their testimony, or whose testimony precedes their swearing."

Al-Ḥasan was once asked, “Should one of us not be ashamed of asking his Lord’s forgiveness but then returning to sins, and asking forgiveness again but then returning to sins once more?”

He replied, “Shayṭān loves to hear that from you. Do not grow weary of asking Allāh’s forgiveness.”

Shu’bah (b. al-Ḥajjāj) reported on the authority of Manṣūr b. Abd al-Raḥmān that he heard ash-Sha’bī say: “I met five-hundred or more of the Companions who would say that ‘Alī, ‘Uthmān, Talḥah, and az-Zubair are in Paradise.”

شُعْبَةُ: عَنْ مَنْصُوْرِ بنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ يَقُوْلُ: أَدْرَكْتُ خَمْسَ مَائَةٍ أَوْ أَكْثَرَ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ، يَقُوْلُوْنَ: عَلِيٌّ، وَعُثْمَانُ، وَطَلْحَةُ، وَالزُّبَيْرُ فِي الجَنَّةِ.

I heard Ṣafwān b. Salīm say: “Death carries relief for the believer from the afflictions of this life, even though death has its agonies and calamities.” His eyes then became tearful.

سَمِعْتُ صَفْوَانَ بنَ سُلَيْمٍ يَقُوْلُ: فِي المَوْتِ رَاحَةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ مِنْ شَدَائِدِ الدُّنْيَا، وَإِنْ كَانَ ذَا غُصَصٍ وَكَرْبٍ، ثُمَّ ذَرَفَتْ عَيْنَاهُ.

Abū Hurayrah raḍiyallāhu ʿanh narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam said, “Our Lord tabāraka wa taʿalá descends each night to the nearest heavens when the last third of the night remains, saying, 'Who will call upon Me so that I may respond to him? Who will ask of Me so that I may give to him? Who will seek My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?"

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، وَأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَغَرِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ يَنْزِلُ رَبُّنَا تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا حِينَ يَبْقَى ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الآخِرُ يَقُولُ مَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ مَنْ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ مَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ ‏"‌‏.‏

Ibn Isḥāq said: the Companions used to say: “The one from us who used to follow knowledge and action the most is Abū Dardā.”

وَقَالَ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ: كَانَ الصَّحَابَةُ يَقُوْلُوْنَ: أَتْبَعُنَا لِلعِلْمِ وَالعَمَلِ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ.
